Skated so many pair of the og campus vulc AND mid, loved that shoe!
[close]

oh man, I had the Diagonal colorway, the SLAP colorway, the white/green SUEDE mids were soooooooooo good.  miss those so much.

the OG campus was an amazing shoe.  had some blk/wht and brwn/white ones that lasted forever.

[close]

brwn/white were my favorite ones but the blk/wht I had so many pair of.  I also loved the blk/gry Oconner ones I had too, I wore the shit out of those

:o That collection MOE, makes me miss when I had about 10 pair of Busenitz pro just chilling in boxes from when I had money to waste haha.  I bought two pair every release for a while
Thanks! The busenitz is def one of the best shoes, there are a couple colors inskated that I wish I had kept, but that's the name of the game. The yellow ones are my pride and joy. Not only are they Wu tang colors but I got them signed by Tim O a little while ago

Decided to throw a bone to the little guy and ordered some State Mercers.

Initial verdict: good quality, very soft materials. They have a nice broken in feeling right out of the box.
The fit is dead on for me, these are a size 12, but I have a long and narrow foot, so I can wear 11.5s in Janoskis. So, I'd have to say they're gonna be snug on a true size 12.
The vulc reminds me of Vans. Slightly textured, in a good way.
Insole is a one piece soft one, once again, reminds me of Vans.

We'll see how they skate!

Got some new Suciu's in the mail today but I'm currently skating the Koston 3's.

Koston's are one of the best fitting shoes I had in a while. I went TTS and I had some blisters in the first day, but once I microwaved them they feel perfect. A true extention of your feet, like every shoe should feel. They are fairly thin but my feet dont feel sore at all so I'm good. Had 2 sessions and I'm sold on them. I also got them for half the price, so that's a plus (I would never pay retail for them).

I went half size down on Suciu's and I'm glad I did. They feel the perfect size and really comfy. The insole will take a while to get used to, but I'm sure I'll like them since I dig the "glued on" fit they give you. I bet they skate really nice!

got these for ?35 each. white ones are tight on my feet, grey ones are a little loose but a nice fit. both size 10.5 so im guessing its down to the whites being a canvas type material and the grey ones being suede. been running the white ones most of the time to try and wear them in but still kinda painful. first foray into the rubber toecap gimmick, dont hate it but not overly keen.

feeling some emericas next, either the reynolds or herman, cupsole models

^yup you should get some real quick.....bummer that these emerica models seem to be discontinued- the herman G6 is still one of the best shoes i ever skated!

i hope herman comes up with a follow up pro model since all his shoes were solid gold in my book!

I keep hearing about microwaving shoes but I don't know how it works. Can you do that with all sorts of shoes? What's up with the metal eyelets? I got a pair of Janoskis and they fit a little to tight for my wide feet, would this help?

The metal eyelets aren't enough to do anything in the microwave. I'm sure they can zap from time to time but it's not going to achieve fission. My last pair of regular Janoskis I microwaved them then stuffed another shoe in while they were still warm to stretch them out. Not worth it.

Agreed SKATAN. I went half size down on the Suciu and they fit perfect. The insole is comfortable and it's a top notch shoe all the way around but I actually stopped skating them bc I felt like they were a little too thick in the midsole.

I actually like a thicker midsole, I love feeling protected and too much boarfeel leaves my feet sore after the session. I loved the Project BA's that are even thicker so I'll be fine I guess. My first impression on those is that the heel lock is not the best, but maybe that's because I'm skating in the Koston 3's that must have the best heel lock ever. I only used them for about 3h chillin' yeasterday tho.

I think I had the o'connors and they were too clunky....the most recent ones were sick and that one season they ran the Americana vin's which were more of a blazer fit...likes them too....I think make Nakel is going to have a shell toe mid vulc next season....sounds a bit complicated but looks ok....it'll be a one off though..,,,

I've been stock piling Even's shoe from Amazon, it's always like $30.00 and I'm kinda stoked to be weaning off the Huf Classic hi....

I've got a pair of Freeday shoes for my birthday. It's one of those unoriginal Brazilian skate companies (aka all of them but Ous which is dope). The sizing is odd and the insoles are paper thin. What's weird is that all of the pro models have some kind of faux-heraldry, logos based on the pro's lives. Adelmo Jr. is some Habitat-looking thingie with a leaf on top, this other guy's is a heart with his initials, and my shoe is a guy named Ricardo Porva's pro model. Which is a mix of the wheelchair "blue pictogram" with a skater skitching on a ponytailed stick figure's wheelchair.

I looked the guy up and the guy's daughter is disabled. I didn't recognize the guy's name, but I remember the family being on the news once, because this Porva guy came up with a conoction that would allow the girl to stand up and skate.

Here's a bad pic from the internet. My phone only takes pictures in potato quality. I absolutely love the colorway. The shoe feels too stiff and kinda loose. But you know what they say about looking in the mouths of gift horses. This was a busy sunday, since I had to work, I wore them. Hopefully they'll be taken to the griptape as soon as they don't feel stiff.
