Wore these for the first time in awhile last night, but couldn't find the laces for them.

Only round laces I had on hand were from one of those r/r mesh and reflective type Project BAs.
They actually worked pretty cool with the vans, accented the tongue.

Thanks guys!  :D
They really feel like they will last a life time (if they dont hit the griptape. They will not in my case).

Childhood, those are incredible and the laces look amazing on them! I'm mad jealous.

Are the Lakai X FTC Owens only available at FTC shops? My local(s) don't seem to have them in. And if anyone has a pair, what's the sizing like? I've been skating 10.5 Emericas pretty exclusive lately but I don't want to pass up a cupsole slip-on.

1/2 size down from normal size for the eventual stretching of the shoe.

Actully I haven't skated the FTC owens but they changed the Owen sole on them and used the same sole as the Guymars on them which was the vlk half cupsole/half vulc sole. I bought the guymars in my normal size and they killed my feet because they were too small. In the regular owens I would say get true to size or half size down but for the FTC ones I'd suggest getting your normal size based off my experience with the vlk sole.

For me the Guymars were true to size but kinda loose due to the insole being so thin. Popped the insoles of my HUF Ramondettas in them and after that the shoes were fucking perfect. Never bagged out and were just a pleasure to use. Was more bummed than normal when they wore out.  :(

Got these Koston 3's for $74 during the year-end sale and came up. Stiff as a muthafucka out the box but I've broken them in and they skate so nicely

Got these Classic Sambas a week ago. I think I'll skate them eventually but idunno how soon. I'm not used to the arch support (I peeled off the little insert under the insole to make it flatter) since I only wear skate shoes and my feet are flat as fuck, so that'll be a trip.

Yup, only color I want is the black/white but is sold out in my size on NDC.

The only pair I skated (all white) lasted a long time and overall a great shoe, too bad the price point was not good at all.

Do they feel stable? How grippy do they seem and how is the impact absorption? I'm really tempted to pick up a pair in that colourway too.

Haven't skated them yet but the grip is pretty good, and it was made for practicing soccer on a frozen pitch so that doesn't surprise me. It's a cupsole so I'd assume it absorbs impact pretty well. I almost always wear vulcs and it feels pretty similar. Honestly if I were you I'd just go for the Busenitz Samba, I just got these because they were 40 bones on amazon.
EDIT: I went out in them earlier and did some jumping/stomping around, they seem to absorb impact pretty well.

Cousin laced me up for Christmas, they feel a little loose up front but skating in them has been fine even for only 10-20 minute spurts the last couple days with all this rain.
