Here is the final product.
They are canvas so the dye took easily.
I applied it with a sponge brush.
let them set overnight and then rinsed them with warm water to get the excess off.
Haven't skated them yet so i don't know if the color will run, but the canvas on the shoes has a rubber layer under it so hopefully it wont.

Looks like we're all finding our OG Rowleys. Turned my shoe cupboard out yesterday, found my all black Motorheads lurking. Soles are pretty worn but I never skated them, half size too big to be comfy for me. Dunno what to do with them now really.

I skated a pair already, the all-white ones. They are half vulc (the toe), half cup (the heel). Gonna just wear the Authentic around, no way I can skate those.

Skated great, only complaint was the heel was so stiff, took a while to break them to my liking. Other than that, great shoe.

Also, Diamond sent me some gear and some kicks were included, cupsole chukka looking pair looks good.

How is the toe holding? It'seems that the leather stops in the stiches and doesn't go under the toe, which is preventing me from buying it. In my opinion the T toe should be stitched on the a layer of leather, in order to have two layers to rip not just the suede one.

Any other option is just decorative and misses the point of having a stitched toe cap.

As for the Sambas, the leather does stop at the stitching, if it didn't they might be too thick and bulky in the toe area. Once it starts coming up, I'll post a picture.
