Adidas Busenitz, first pair I've ever owned. White/black/gold. Summer shoe.

Modern-day classic, way better than the Puigs I had before. Really comfortable and form-fitting. Only gripe is that the heel's pretty big but they still exceeded my expectations. It looks huge on my left foot but that's not actually the case.

Still think the Silas SLR is the best Adidas shoe I've skated. Hope they reissue them.

Also really want to try the Air Jordan 1s after reading they're great for skating.

anyone skate the Chuck Taylor 2? I bought a pair from the converse outlet. They're a lil beefier than the CTAS, and more comfy

I've skated a pair a bit and they're not nearly as good as CTAS Pros IMO. The sole isn't as grippy and somehow they just feel worse for skating overall. Wouldn't recommend personally.

I have pair of CTAS pros, looking at them side by side. The soles and vamp are obviously different material than the 2s. The 2 are also less flexible. Thanks for he input

Yeah. The II's are narrower as well and the sizing is different. I'm size 10 in CTAS Pros and normal Chucks but 10.5 in the II's. I haven't skated my II's in a while. I'll likely try them again at some point just to confirm that they really aren't all that good for skating and then just relegate them to being car fixing & etc. shoes.  :)

fucking Adidas and their inability to keep their best shoes in their product line; Silas had so many great shoes and now he's down to only one colourway per season in his vulc model???

I mean, shoe companies stop producing shoes that arent popular right? I'm sure if silas' shoes did busenitz or janoski numbers they would still be around. There's a reason why busenitz has had 3 different models of shoes, but they stopped making the adv instead of the pro or vulc (much older, arguably worse models), why? Because they didn't sell as well for whatever reason while the other two are still selling fine. Silas' shoes may skate and function great, and he had a cult following that love his shoes (myself included), but at the end of the day Adidas is a huge corportion and  his shoes just haven't made the cut to stick around year after year.

I get that ... and I guess you also have to factor in that his shoes are so far ahead of the game, but from a guy who has had easily the most legendary shoes (or at least on the same level as Dennis) since their inception it's criminal that he has one vulc model out these days...

Hahaha, especially when that vulc sucks, it's so slippery and the toe is so weirdly shaped

After trying a bunch of other shoes, including the new G6 I ended up buying what will probably be the last Reynolds Low I will likely find in my size. First one I had to pay full price for...

Good choice. I've got 3 of these going in the current rotation. And another 3 pairs in the box.
Kind of scared to have to find something new after that. The G6 just doesn't seem quite as sturdy.

I can't put those newer ones in other shoes, like the ones in MC3's photo, have to dig out the older ones that have no exposed lunarlon up top.

has anyone here skated in the kalis lite's? debating on getting a pair.

I have a pair, tried them on board. I like how it looks from POV, provides well support for the sag, and brings the feeling little bit closer like Kalis in LOVE days. Sole is goes thin at front, thick at hell and well supported. Feels good just cruising. Ollie and tricks, not so well... :( My main skate shoe is Chris Cole Lite 3 and those leave Kalis Lite in dust in terms of skate performance.

Hats off to Shanahan and Kalis for constantly skating the shoes, because I can't.

Perfect chillers tho.
