Since ES's return, I been promising myself some Accels but can't ever find in my size and came across these mids at a shop instead.
I missed the first SLB era, wanted to know if these were that fire, they look like updated accel soles, anyone know anything about these badboyees?

The stock ortholite in that sole is super thin, I used FP custom orthotics in the accel mids i skated and it made a world of a difference with the cushioning and was overall a pretty solid shoe. Without a beefier insole they're damn near vulc-status tho

Insoles are the worst, but they all have fit super comfortably. I bought the white pair of mids, and they lasted all of 2 sessions. They skated really well while they lasted though.

I've been wanting to try them as well but their lifespan is always described in hours. Maybe I will try to score some on sale this year and put them into rotation for things like taking the kids to eye dr, dentist, etc. I always take a board with me and usually get in a quick session in the parking lot & sidewalk while they are in the back.

Hate to send you there. But zumiez has em on their site for like 25 bucks, bunch of sizes.

Also, I think all the SLB'S have been bunk. The 23's fit like shit, the mids lasted 2 minutes, and the 97's are too bulky, and don't last long either.

I bought these on Es april fools sale last year and they lasted me a long time on the contrary. Islnsoles/ soles are terribly thin doe, only real bad thing about em for me.

Shoe goo the shit out of them and replace the insoles if you want any kind of support or cushion.

Mine lasted three. God the nostalgia was running high though...I was right back in my childhood.

Ordered a pair, but they were insanely big, so I sent 'em back, They weren't impressive enough to make me want to re-order.

Interesting...  Thanks for the info.  I remember the ones fitting slightly larger than true to size, but my knees felt better than normal with that adiprene insole/midsole. Winter is just about over in MI, so I'm looking for a new cupsole.

Don't get me wrong, I dig the insole while on, but it really is a pain to get the shoe on/off with that. If you like the first one, you probably would like these too, but I'd say go a half size down for people not used to adidas' wonky sizing. I'd order them again in the correct size if they were on sale.

suede backed twill CTAS pro. Never skated in anything from converse but some bog standard chuck hi back when my mom paid for my shoes and she couldn't afford anything more expensive at that time, these are insanely comfortable with the lunarlon and probably the grippiest shoe I've been in yet. Breaking them in was easy though, thankfully. Might have to start buying more of these now that I've given up on trying to relive my childhood strictly skating the accel OG.

I quite like the skate chucks myself too. I've heard that the new ones come with a different insole though and ppl here have been saying that it's much worse than the lunarlons, so you might be out of luck.  :-\

Needed to try something new and found these.
For such a basic shoe it’s really great, these fit to my feet even better than era pros and I thought I’d never find a shoe I liked as much as those. Never tried the older Emerica version, it always looked like the collar would shred my achillies, but the Leo version feel like a slipper

^^It does, ran it laceless and it stretched out so I threw them back in. Needless to say I swapped the insoles for some Dr. Scholl's Active ones and the shoe is a dream

I swapped the insoles for some nike zoom ones & skated them a handful of times then donated them. They looked sweet but just didn't work for me. The uppers on these were much thinner than I remember.
