Does vans make the chukka boot in a pro? If so does anyone know where I can get some?
[close]
Never that I'm aware of. The closest you can find would be the Chima 1 Pro which was basically a chukka low I think? Feel free to chime in if I'm talking shit.

They had the Chima estate I think? That might not be the right name, but they had the Chima low and then I think the mids were called the estates but I can’t find those anymore either.

Basically I’m looking for any mid top vans pros that aren’t half cabs or sk8-his

They used to. I got these still unskated.

I'm annoyed I didn't get the 50th Anniversary ones when they came out.

I believe the closest they have now to a Pro version is the Chukka DX SF, which have the thinner Ultracush lite insole.

FYI.  I had the previous chukka boot pros and they fit true to size for me but those DX SFs were snug.  I don't know if it's because they're in the surf line and meant to be worn without socks but just a head's up if you order them online.
Enjoy your life.

DAMN! I wish I would have known that sooner. They had the those checkered chukkas in a pacsun sale like 2 days ago but they only had a half size larger than what I usually wear which probably would have been perfect.

Anyone who skated the Vans Crockett 2's find they hurt the soles of your feet? They feel relatively comfy but if I'm really going for a trick the area around the ball of the foot just starts hurting. Thought it might have been an insole issue but tried a different set and same problem.

I don't know what you are used to skate, but that area is where the crockett feel most like regular vans. I ended up selling them because i thought they were more cupsole like. I should have gone for the walkers.

Got the new Aves in the mail yesterday. They feel light but really sturdy al I've been doing is walking but, I feel like skating them because of how secure my foot feels.

Got a talking to for wearing blue and white old skools at work yesterday because they are “sneakers”. Mother fuckers here be wearing Nike sneakers, fat bitches wear leggings, girls with big bootys wear skin tight dresses and hooker heels but a mother fucker can’t wear some comfortable clean shoes. They are practically new, I’m always wearing a nice clean button up. Hate dress code shit.

But when I’m feeling naughty I wear my baker polo with a little baker logo.

Our casual Friday’s mean you can wear jeans but you still have to wear dress shoes. Fucking regular.

I just saw someone like walking yesterday from behind and was like whoa I don’t know who it was though. The majority of this place is fat ladies who live laugh and love or have a million jokes about Monday, coffee, or any other surface level bullshit like that.

I've skated plenty of vans in the pro line - 112s, tnt's, half cabs, and then a bunch of regular old skools/random vans and never had this issue until now.

I actually found the stock insoles better than using a nicer aftermarket insole but yes I was definitely getting a lot of pain after wearing them for long periods. They're a mild cup for people who like vulcs I think? Good thing I bought 3 colorways lol. They're actually the shoe that made me all real deal cupsole. I think they looks sick though.

Nice first sesh for these legacies. Still need to break in the leather but their shape and overall support feel great so far, should be a good shoe for me

Might be the best shoe I’ve had in the last few years

Juat started skating a pair of legacy slims. Amazed at how much grip they have.  Just riding regular jessup grip. Great feeling shoe, super comfortable too.

Whoever said Crockett’s hurt their feet, I’m in the same boat. I have hammer toes and plantar fasciitis in my flicking foot and every time I try to buy them they end up hurting my foot. Every time and I really want to skew them. They look good and perform well. Pro vulc Vans work better for my feet surprisingly.

I had a pair of the Crockett 2s awhile back and I thought they were super comfy. I usually wear thin cupsoles too.

Also, I've been rocking my Huf Dylan slip ons and Cromers to the office. I ran into my old boss and he called the Cromers "cute".

Really interested on these, but wondering about the mesh parts...
What kind of mesh is it? Is it a durable/ballistic mesh or just normal mesh aka will blow with a couple of heelflips?

I was amazed at how long mine have lasted. I could easily still be skating them, and that was with no superglue, which would have made them super long lasting.

anyone skate a pair of these Hopps x Cons?  true to size?  Or do they follow the general Cons sizing of a full size down than your usual shoe size?  i.e. I wear an 11... do I get a 10?

It feels like ballistic mesh. There’s nothing backing the mesh but it’s pretty tightly sewed and “welded” in. Pretty sure it’ll be durable and breathable like the AVE rapiweld shoe.

I’m gonna skate in them next so after a few wears I can see how the wear and tear is.
