Those counterfeit shoe manufactures are economical leeches often related to money laundry schemes/crime organisations/child labor/don’t pay taxes/don’t care about innovation and the list goes on...
If you really like skating Jordan 1’s it’s not that hard to get some legit ones if it’s a GR or like a not so sought after colorway, https://www.nike.com/t/air-jordan-1-mid-shoe-1zMCFJ/554724-067
but it seems like you wanna flex on the kids skating some fake Travis Scott’s!  ::)
There’s also tons of shoes currently in the market that probably skate like Jordan 1’s made by legit companies, at cheaper prices...

just a few examples:

^^what the fuck are you guys smoking?
All those shoes in the links look fuckin' horrendous.
With literally a thousand sales a year + extra codes to buy legit product you guys really prefer to buy some dodgy fufu shit from eBay? wtf
[close]

This is what they look like. Jordans. Maybe youre confused cus the ads dont show the logo, where this person does.

https://www.dhgate.com/product/2020-top-13-retro-13-jordan-13-aj1-13-aj/538780758.html?dspm=pcen.pd.alsobuy.2.Q2GrG9JTwB52w6webd3b&resouce_id=538780758#cppd-2-5|null::r8290615651

If you dont like jordans you dont like them. Thats fine man. I dont like the majority of skateshoes that look like they were designed in the late 1930s but you dont seem me saying stuff like what are those the pocohontas orthopedics?

I have the above etnies, NB Numerics, sbs, vans and lakais but I just like skating in jordans. And these feel and look exactly like them. So I dont have to fuck up my legit expensive ones. Finding a nice skate shoe is not easy for me. I feel like Im looking at geisha foorwear at times. I just like the soles/feel of jordans and the look and Id rather not spend 100-750+ for the above legit shoes to just scuff it up in 3 kickflips and 2 impossibles.

When youre looking down and you see that red white and black colorway on your bolts, you tend to get a style boost (+3 min). You probably are not familiar with that and thats ok buddy, calm down.

let's see some legit shoes since you're a "collector"

These came in 3 days ago.

its rediculous you think its incredulous I have a sneaker collection. Its not ferarris for fucks sake.  I can afford to get whatever I want, Im older, own a house, have money but Im pragmatic and rational

You pulled rank on this young gun. "Pocohontus Orthopedics" was hilarious and unfortunately for my joints an apt description of what I've been skateing in . Those fake blue and white joints look awesome.

Several solid options in there. I really like the Reebok, and the cinex, from looking at them. Puma probably skates great.

I dont care about Nike as they use child labor as well and use these same workhouses. The entire Chinese shoe business (american shoes business) is shady with "legit" and the reps. Im linking you to very open replicas so no one is getting tricked. You got a small company I like, Ill support them especially if made in the states, Nike can fuck off imo. But Skatans reply was valid enough to warrant a reply from me.

N I def like those Cons Fastbreaks in mid , I rocked those in the mid 90s before cons made skateshoes and were owned by Nike

But remember, youre paying $50 or less for any color reps of J1s Not $150 and they look identical . Thats major if you plan to skate in them. If you are just wearing them, get legit obv.

Great out of the box....usually means turns to shit super floppy, for me. Be nice to be able to try on shoes again. And not have people be getting sick and out of work. And also try shoes on again.

These are all true of Nike & Adidas.

I guarantee the bootleg Jordan skate shoe factory has a significantly lower pay gap between highest and lowest paid employees than Nike or Adidas. Those workers also likely have a better chance at organizing their workplace than in a Nike factory which they can just close as soon as a union is formed.

For the few people who messaged me about rep dunks due to fear of being lashed out upon, Im just going to leave a link here to a verified seller. Scroll down read reviews look at other sellers and size up if you want. You guys can figure out the morality yourself. I have studied this in depth but Im not going to explain to an (mostly) unreceptive group. You guys dont have to buy them.

Out of curiosity, why do reps make you so angry? Were not telling people to sell them as legit, just skate them. Are you just trying to be a dick or do you actually have a rational explanation for your anger?

Adidas and Nike doesn’t even own the factories, and they only work with the ones that live up to their standards, which are pretty damn high. Don’t you think they have human rights entities up their ass inspecting everything?? I’ve been in Asia for basically 3 months in total, I’ve been in the factories, I saw the production line, Its the same shit as any other industrial factory in Europe I’ve been, Most of the times with better machinery, because of the all the technical stuff they need to make, 8h turns with thousands and thousands of people changing seats. The workers had masks, water bottles, ventilated rooms, etc... Also the wage gap doesn’t mean shit. You can have an basically inexistent wage gap with everyone getting a shit salary. I’m sure the counterfeit factories respect all of the rules cause they ain’t evil right??

Well you can also see the warehouses these are made in. The best way to do it, is join the replica subreddit and message the reccomended sellers, you can have a coversation and you develop a relationship and theyre very open about it.

Some reps are for sure made in shady conditions without question. However I can tell you the process as my guy works in the nike/converse factory.

As you know, Nike/converse and Addidas ( and most others) dont actually make the shoes. They delegate to this buildhouses. They use good buildhouses. Theyre still very shady but have more liability as a company. What my guy does is build the shoes using the same parts (or cnc cut data) and becomes a direct rep seller, but will also design shoes like offering different colorways nike never made or using jordan 4 uppers with sb toe to straight up making franken shoes that only they carry. He is not employed by nike, hes employed by the buildhouse. If nike didnt wish to take advantage of the people in the buildshops and the work norms provided in these buildhouses, they could make their own, however, Nike does not do this because they do not want to have to pay thier workers more than they do at chineese buildshops and make an enviornment that would be up the American workplace standards. So what Nike does is monthly visits to assess conditions and quality control. However, these are scheduled so the buildshop can hide stuff and clean up nice for inspection, so Nike's liability takes a blind eye. So to me, I would honestly rather support the worker than the exploiting corperation. Even if he may not report it to taxes and is stealing or making spare parts from his factory for his own shoes. Nike is a parasite but I love their shoes.

But if you dont know where your reps are coiming from, you very well could be supporting very shady stuff. Often the cnc machine data gets shared and they can be made suspect buildhouses. And you can do the same by buying legit ones. If you see the stockx photo in the dhgate, those are made in the same buildhouse as Nike/converse.

Overall, I just am presenting you guys another less expensive option. You can say nah not for me, it dont feel right and I fully respect that point of view. I just would rather the money goes to the person who makes my shoes, plus if you develop a relationship with them, like I do, he can make dunks and J1s to whatever combo of colorways you want. Which i love cus gum soles are my fav. Cool?

I'm obviously not skating 21 year old jordans, after all this is the "post the shoes you're wearing" thread not the "I'm insecure so I have to justify buying fakes" thread. support your local and buy your skate shoes there.

in response to jay nev- I've definitely considered it as they retroed in '15, it's too frivilous an expense at the moment though

If I was insecure I wouldnt be sharing that I skate in reps. You just seem unclear on the behavior associated with insecurity. Stop asking me questions about it and I will move on. You can make a new post, or shut up and move on.

Might as well make a whole new thread dedicated to this topic

I agree. I just dont want to do that really cus the lashout factor but if someone makes a therad Ill hop in. If you guys have any other question message me or make a new post. I feel like the jordan reps took over this post and that was not my intent. So, let get this back on the rails.
so funny to suggest someone else make a thread on behalf of your knockoffs
I've had a better understanding of what is happening around me while smoking Salvia as a passenger in a moving vehicle than reading your post
