Skating Half Cabs right now, didn't even remember how good they feel. The new insoles also work like a dream, atleast for me.
[close]
New insoles? You mean for the OG ones? Did they update the insole to those? Maybe that’s why they feel thicker to me this time around.
I mean the popcush insole on pros. So much better than the old ones.

It hasn't been mentioned much in here I don't think but since Solid bowlcut brought it up, I also really fuck with the popcush insoles. They work a lot better for me because they mold more to my flat ass feet and are just better over all  at absorbing impact. I can see why maybe some people think they are too much but I was surprised at how good they felt to me.

On a related note, if those really are Half Cab Pro redesigns that the Boss posted recently, then that shoe is hopefully going to get a lot closer to the OG Half Cabs. I really hope they wind up making those updates. An actual stiff padded ankle collar with some of those new insoles would make that shoe really fucking good.

Wassup guys don’t post up much but was stoked on these

[close]

Nice. I really like the way they look but I feel like in my size (11.5-12) they'd be all bulky and suffocate the skateboard
[close]

They are more narrow than I expected and have a good flick I think they would look sick in a bigger size
Had the safari color way they are waaaay slimmer then pictures make it look

Grabbed a pair of the Manchester XLK's today - they feel dope but are definitely a slim shoe. Not a bulky cupsole at all, the sole is soft and flexible like an es' Accel slim, maybe even more so. Kinda wanted the white ones but this is what we got at the shop. As others have noted, they don't really have the same toe shape as the OG cupsole Manchester - pointier for sure. Probably just chillers.

Shout out to Budgie.  ;D

[close]

Skating these currently. Two sessions so far, pretty good right out of the box but I'm surprised how much they have already stretched. They'll probably get pretty floppy. The toe looks a little different but the flick feels almost exactly how I remember the originals.

Update: Those Manchester's killed my feet after trying to wear them for a few hours - way too narrow. It's a shame. I'd like to support Lakai but the shoes just don't feel good. I'm sticking with Sole Tech brands - they seem like they're made for my shape foot. Currently trying to sell those still brand new Lakai's. 10.5

Honestly had never heard of Teva sandals before. I thought there was no way I'm paying the price of a shoe for sandals and then I tried them on and instantly got them. I need something casual because I'm working at home, and in the past 3/4 months have gone through like 3 pairs of slippers and a pair of sandals coming to almost the price of these and these will for sure last longer. They are the shit, I don't care if they are trendy, I never even heard of them, I'm not up to date with anything.

Dope. Waiting for my pair of Old Skools to arrive still. UPS still hasn’t updated their tracking but was assured they were dispatched from the shop. Hope they show up and don’t have to get refunded and no shoes.

Nice. I was gonna get the sandals too but they were $95 I think. Pass on that.

Will probably get the old skool too if I have enough funds. I forgot what the matching apparel looks like.

are you skating yours? I ordered a pair but I haven't decided. I saw a couple pair of the Old Skools on eBay going for kind of a lot but I don't really know anything about "rare" shoes. I just ordered them because I thought they were cool.

Negative. My days of skating vulc are done, haven’t skated Vulc shoes since probably 2012 or 2013.

Just got them since they are cool and would like to wear around. As for the rarity, it won’t be too rare as they will be available at most skate shops with a good vans account but they will sell out. Lots of sci fi fantasy fans out there that would like to grab the whole collab collection.

Chaco or Suicoke are both rad. Also essential to have a pair of birkenstocks in rotation at all times

I got these for when I want to look like a cool guy. They're this weird nylon material. If I find some in canvas or suede (and on clearance) I'd skate em.

while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

You might say, I've found my go to. These things are indestructable. A month in of pretty heavy skating and grip tape has barely touched upper. I want to change it out just out of being sick of looking down at the same shoes.

It's actually this color, just dirty as hell:

I guess its a tan? Anyways, I didn't stitch a darker thread or anything.

Reebok Workout Plus SK

What does the SK stand for? Who knows. What fucking sucks about reebok is that in a world were my wide feet can't fit any shoe properly, rebook feels like a quarter size too big. I'll start skating them in a week or so.

I think he means the pair in the middle. There's a dark spot on the toe cop of the right blue shoe.
