Got some louies for cheap. Typical with Cons sizing I went a size down. They feel like they would be great to skate in. But like all my shoes I wear them to work for a few days, maybe a week before skating them. Old habit.

Currently skating a pair while I wear and walk around in this pair for a week or two to break ‘em in to get ‘em ready for whenever my current pair craps out on me.
Been on an OG Half Cab kick lately; they’re so thin and flimsy feeling and the midsole is so thick which makes flicking kickflip tricks a pain for the first couple sessions, but man do they feel goooood once you get used to them and break the midsole in a bit.
That and plus black Half Cabs with slightly baggy brown dickies might just be the best looking combo ever imo.

In trying to find work shoes that double as something to skate in AND vegan, settled on the Nizza.

Out the box fit, very nice. You definitely feel the instep when new, smooths out nicely. Nothing on the site made note that I seen about leather, but the stripes are questionable.

Toe cap is a plus. Bottom grip, grips. Very minimal on the build, which I like. Someone made mention of skate shoes off the norm which tipped me off to these. So far, so good.

Those 420s are so sick, love the colorway, haven't seen that particular colorway before. I've skated both the 420 and 440, and although I prefer the 440 the 420s rule. Also stash pocket always a plus

Thanks man!  I honestly think they are an older colorway that I happened across on a crazy deal the other day and couldn't resist.

Meh. Im not feeling them. I skated to the store and like curly foot ollied a crack trying not to use the side of my foot. These are going to need a preemptive patch for sure.

Half Cabs and cords like when I was 17. I'll probably go up one eyelet when I start skating them. Gonna go watch Pat Steiner's Static 3 part...

really, really enjoying the shape of these reissues.
5 star!

Was looking at these earlier today online, does your heel slip out though? They have that look. I usually tie all my laces to the top holes on shoes so I was just wondering if you'd had experienced that?

This combo still goes hard. Static 3 is a timeless masterpiece. Are the half-cabs the new skate ones?

How are they skating? I'm trying to be a bit more frugal these days and not buy any new shoes but that one photon dust/rust colorway looks so cool. Plus I'm curious about those react insoles and if they're special enough to warrant the purchase alone and if I could reuse them for other sneakers like the old Lunarlon ones?

Just got my second pair, only shoe that my feet don't hurt after skating with, find the insole way better than any of the aftermarket ones

Just one 45 minute lunch break session, wore them around the house last night and to work this morning. They skate  well, nice and grippy with good boardfeel. The outsole goes up kind of high to mimic the wrap of a vulc, but I like that and think it will add to the durability. I feel like that might be a no go for some people.

The react insole is removable. I'm also running a set of bruin Hyperfeels that I thrifted and the react is definitely firmer and more dense than the Hyperfeel (or Lunarlon). I'm a big guy and Lunarlon just didn't do it for me, so I am optimistic about these. I'll keep you posted with how the insoles hold up @funeral_tuxedo

In my experience the react insole works well swapped out for vans popcush insoles or similar

Got mine in some vans skate sports and they feel awesome

Had planned on reselling these in order to add to a little savings fund I've been building up, but the resale isn't very high. Plus, the more I look at them, the more I want to wear them...
