Finally gonna cave and skate the Air Trainers. And I REALLY like the Griffin shoe. Haven’t bought Lakai’s since the early 00’s. Had non skater friends ask what they are, they love em. Was flirting with picking of the logo (so on trend atm) but decided to keep it.
I'm skating a pair of the Griffin and they are amazing. Super comfortable and look great with shorts or jeans. I'm thinking about picking up another pair just for wearing around.

I know right! They feel really good on foot and look awesome too. I’m thinking about getting another pair but they have sold out of most shops here.

what are you alls thoughts on the Adidas Campus ADV? I'm two sessions in and currently hate them. No Board feel, no flick. It's blowing my mind that such a basic shoe, could suck so much, so I'm wondering if it's me or does anyone else not like it.

Campus ADVs were horrible for me. Couldn't skate them at all, no board feel and they got a weird crinkle/seam on the toe box. Kept them as my shoes for wearing in the rain, mud, exploring in drains etc though and I must say the sole hasn't worn down at all and I've had them since 2019.

Classic Campus are excellent though, they didn't need to make a skate version because the old ones are perfect. Would recommend.

Third-ed, It's one of those Adidas anomolys that is so insanely bad you wonder how the team skates them.
The best example was all the people, myself included, that skated the old Stan Smith Vulc. Worst shoe ever, painful even.
I waited for years since watching MJ skating some campus in the old Tilt Mode videos, when they finally dropped a skate version along with an MJ colorway I was super bummed that they were so bad.

Yeah they don't have them at my shop either. I had to order them from skate warehouse but they don't have them there now either. I'm going to look around online and try to find some.

How could this be the same company that released the Silas 1?

I feel like Buck is trying to tell me that this doesn't look as good as I think it does. Then again he licks his own ass so wtf does he know.

I can’t remember where or if I wrote it here or not but the skate version of the Samba is dog water compared to the regular ones. The skate ones toe box area goes all creased n shit. The normal ones don’t. I don’t understand how that happens

I REALLY Like this shoe/colour. I cut the straps though because my foot has a very high arch.

I just got a pair of Adidas Puig and a pair of Busenitz Vulc II.
Seems that wearing the Vulc 2's at work made me heels ache (vulc 1's did the same), so hopefully I can skate in em.
Have not tried the Puig yet

Yeah, the classic campus are way better as the adidas skateboarding line. But I never find regular campus anymore.

Completely agree. I’m flat footed and the elastic straps were way too tight yet I still seemed to get heel slip. Also they wore in angled out like an obese Walmart shoppers shoes. The sole ended up feeling paper thin in a couple weeks even though the sole pattern was still intact.

the Buz super indoors feel nothing like the OG Buz Pros.  There's no 'heel lift' and they fit a little wider in the forefoot and toe box.  the tongue is more comfortable as well.  basically, they are an even better version of one of the best cupsoles ever.

my only gripe is the X V on the back is a little silly/unnecessary
How’s the sizing compared to the OG Buz Pros? I have to size up 0.5 on the OGs

Back in some sk8 lows after a pretty lengthy Vans hiatus. Feels good. Picked up some of the skate old skools too; so far so good on both.

First impressions are really good. They feel well made, especially for the price. Can't wait to properly sesh them.

Ordered a pair too, kickflips will probably be a bitch for the first few sessions, but I'll sacrifice that for more sole durability.

Yeah I fucked around for a couple minutes yesterday but I was feeling sickly. They are grippy as hell, definitely need some break in.

Size 12. Great for flat wide feet.

Can’t get enough of the Fastbreak sitting on about 5 pairs now, these are the latest acquisition.
