Man I love these shoes. They sold out of the skate shops here (actually I don’t even think my shop got them in!) and I was bummed. About a 4 months later I found them at my Nike outlet. I was beyond stoked.

Long tongue Sambas are awesome. Great score. Through them in the washing machine (with some towels) and they’ll be good as new. Or just wear em. They skate great.

Great vans alternative. More comfy, wider than janoskis which were too narrow midfoot. Been wearing them as work shoes w our semi formal dress code.

Put my vans era back on last week and couldn't believe i wore them for so long.

Seems like these go out of stock fairly quickly on good colorways so i think people are skating them more now

Oh yea grip is great. Only concern is slightly tight on too of foot

That shoe would be almost 20 years old, haha - I think I remember an ad with Ethan Fowler skating them (or I'm just tripping)? They had a logo with a broken record or something on them too right?

Man Asics are the move. The Gel 360 are so good. They take a beating better than most too. Unfortunately it’s the lad shoe of choice here (even on par with TN’s) but that’s ok. It’s worth it.

it has been harder to find good asics last 3 years for some reason. They are the GOAT walking chilling shoe comfort wise.

Asics here have had a massive comeback. Probably the best run they’ve had yet. JD, Footlocker, etc. have so many options. And some even hold excellent resale value. People realised how shit Nikes quality has become over the years and look elsewhere for runners. I have a few shoes but when I bought a pair of 360’s I kept going back to them everyday.

And any model Ronnie Feig touches turns to gold.

did get a nice pair of gel lyte 3s from Ross for 45

The sagas have a better arch for me tho, 3s are too flat

Australia. I got a dope pair of Solebox Gel lyte 3’s but the arch of my foot is too high for them. The split tongue looks boo boo with my foot. Shame, cause the are such a good shoe

Just started skating the same colorway right now - I have white laces on mine but I always wanted a cream pair with a black tongue. I love the new skate halfcabs. I skated the black with white sole way before this. Thinking of skating either reynolds half cab or all black to floor ones next (would still put white laces on those), but they last long if you ask me so who knows if I'll be able to find them when these are kicked.

I was hating on the new sk8 line but my pro' Kyle walkers are so soggy now and ultracush does fuck all.

wore my OG skate hi's with a lot of miles on them this week and I would be better off barefoot.

Yea, the US Asics game is kinda weak right now. I got those xmas color Gel Sagas several years ago and now it is slim pickings.

Everyone is back on the nike train after a few years of everyone wearing vans and or adidas ultracush type stuff.
