They made a best trick contest on my local skatepark and got these DCs for free
Not sure if I would have bought them myself but still looking forward to skate them
[close]

What'd you win with. Can't be mad at free dcs

It was at the eurogap section at the park, and got away with some really prohibited tricks hahahah
Did a late varial heelflip up that thing, an impossible revert and a kickflip nosemanual nollie flip where it has the manual pad
Basically trying to compensate my little to none abilities of switch skating by doing wierd shit
And started to skate the shoes and pretty good so far, nice to feel some solid shoes after skating thin vulcs for so long

Skated in the Lakai’s for the first time today. Not too bad at all. For some reason they remind me of prototype Airwalks or something. Did anyone buy those Tony Hawk Lakai’s? I’ve never seen them in the wild or on IG or anything.
Then Ghost Racers for chillin

idk why this post made me think about it, but i'm curious - some people hate skating new shoes, but you bust out some fresh ones often enough it seems. do you break in the shoes at all before skating or is it out of the box and onto the board?

I have around 80 - 90 pairs and I rotate them every day (no flex. I actually get bummed at myself for keep on buying new shoes but I can’t help it) But I wear them for a few weeks or longer as chillers before actually skating them. If I skate a pair of brand new shoes I just put in older inner soles in them first.

One of the bad things is storage. I like to keep the boxes but it takes up so much room. My bedroom is chockers, the spare room and both closet’s are full. Im sure most of you are like this.
And I love hooking friends up with shoes. If they are a size 12 they are set. Clothes too.

I think the last time I posted a picture in this topic was of some AJ1 Lows in the Chicago colorway... so continuing in that Chicago theme, I just bought those new half cabs and swapped the laces to black:

To quote Lupe Fiasco... got my Vans on but they look like sneakers?  ;)

Got this exact getup on right now, pretty stoked on the new skate Half Cabs

Possibly the best non skate shoes. The Club C’s are even better

yep, they are a lot better with FPs in them; get your finger under the insole (it's only glued in a few areas) and then be gentle, you should be able to get them out with little/ no residue!

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Been buying up Dickson colorways when they're on sale. Loving these for skating transition so far, sole seems a little less grippy than other vulcs making foot positioning a bit easier.

Also balance board is where I take meetings/calls when I don't need to be on video.

Got my suicoke urich's on all the time when I'm not skating. I like how they look a bit better than birks.

Do you find the balance board helps your actual skating? I've always wondered, anyway nice working from home idea.
Those suicokes are very dope up there!

balance boards rule. The round ones, are magic. So good for everything as well as getting better balance. Great for before skating.

I can’t stop wearing these. Adidas slip on’s are the footwear of the gods   8)

Yep. Not sure if it helped but I can definitely tell the difference on the balance board from when I started back up skating seriously at the beginning of the summer and now. And I agree, I'll stand on it for 10-15 minutes during my last meeting of the day and be ramp ready once I hang up.

New Cranberry Spanky’s…. Yum yum!

These look sick. I'm on the fence about these due to the lack of padding around the collar. How do you like them?

I think they are super comfy but I haven’t skated them yet. I think they will skate great.

Currently skating a pair of the spanky slipCup which are ace!

I wish those came with a white/gum sole instead of that dark brown.   That might be close to my ideal shoe
