Grabbed some slim Stevie’s for $25 from that Exodus sale page.
My first pair of real skate shoes were the OG Stevie’s so these hit me right in the feels.
Maybe these are the key to unlocking the heelflips I had when I was a kid…

This ones look pretty cool!!!

I've been loving my DC X Bronze Clocker's.  The way they fit take me back to skating a 3 stair behind a sandwich shop in 1998.  I'm going to try to cop some Lukoda's in the future.  Those look great.

If you’re someone who needs shoes to feel snug and secure, how stupid does it make these DC reissues look to tighten them a bit?

After not being able to get my hands on reasonably priced dunks for a while, I came up on this pair of cauldrons and ciders for just under retail.  Put lunarlon insoles in both.  Digging the non sb dunks way more than the last couple pair of sb dunks I had.

I choke mine down a bit, the tongues are fat enough that it’s hardly noticeable. I honestly prefer them this way.

Do anyone else’s Half Cab 92s absolutely destroy their ankles? Trying to skate the blue 30th anniversary ones out the box and they’re fucking my feet up so much. Had tons of Cabs over the years and this has never been an issue. The collar is just so fucking stiff.

Nah didn't have that problem, maybe you need to laace them a little tighter? They do be stiff as fuck tho. Fat ass tongue crowds the fuck outof my foot. I might go half size up on them if I do them again.

Something was wrong with those blue 92s. I've had like 10 or more of the Skate Half Cabs and those felt stiff and tight when I put them on and never really broke in. To be fair, I gave up after the 3rd wear and they've just been sitting. Other people didn't seem to have a problem with them but the pair I had definitely felt off.

Ah fuck, that might be the case, they don’t feel like any other Half Cabs I’ve ever had and as I said, I’ve had a lot. Skating in them isn’t too bad but walking is torture, got blisters on the sides of both ankles. Might give them one more try and be done with them if they don’t soften up.

I have skated like 6 pairs of the new skate half cabs and when they made the 30th anniversary 92’s I got the tan pair and not the blue. They skated great. Was a big fan and am a big fan of the new skate half cabs. That’s pretty wild though that just one colorway is insanely uncomfortable and causing issues none of the other colorways did.

Yeah, I have the '92 dress blues and the chives (green). Side by side the chives have a different back half with a higher and more padded collar. Chives broke in significantly faster and are more comfortable all around.

Kalis vulc mids (black on black), just put better insoles in and thank me later. Minimal to no break-in time. I liked them so much I bought three pairs, might buy more.

Yeah I had the Beef and Broccoli ones and the collars were super stiff and uncomfortable for me, even after like 10 seshs in them they just never felt comfortable for me. Ended up handing them off

I have the lows. What insole did you use?

I actually shaved the arch and heel support pads off the factory insole so they were flat, put them back in and then put a broken in, really high quality DC insole I have from who knows when, straight on top. Bit of an experiment, and sounds like you would lose sensation from too much insole thickness, but it really worked a treat. Shoe fits exactly the same, no tightness/discomfort. I'll do the same with the other pairs as I get to them.

Thanks Kalis, very happy to give you coin..

Thanks for the response. I’ll have to go a different route myself given I don’t have the same materials as you. For now they are working fine as a walk around/cruiser shoe for me.

Been seeing these alot on IG but couldn't tell if I really liked them since there's no real on foot pics out there. Those look so good my man, and have convinced me to grab a pair asap.
