Agreed. The first Reynolds colorway honestly felt horrible. Never even ended up skating them.

How do they fit/feel?

@IUTSM actually really good. It’s probably on the thinner side for a cupsole, maybe comparable to a Last Resort CM002. Plush insole, fairly wide toe box. They run slightly large so the website recommends to go half size down. Could be a good shoe for people with wider feet.

I only have one session in them but they felt broken in right away, comfortable with good board feel. Flick is good but it is a big round toe box so it took a couple kickflips to get adjusted.

A couple old heads at the park immediately called them out “wait Simple is back??”

yes, but on the roomier side. if you have a super skinny foot maybe half size down would work.

Still on the only skating half cabs until I die. These are some pig suede 92 skate half cabs I had on ice and have just started skating. This was from right after the first time I put them on and did a quick kick flip out back when taking my dog out.

I was apprehensive on the skate half cabs because I didn’t like the half cab pro’s. Right as they came out I was skating the classic half cabs. A friend got sent a pair and didn’t want to skate them and hooked me up with his pair since we were the same size. I’ve been hooked since. The 92 skate ones feel the best. I actually skated a regular (not 92) skate half cabs in this same color way like 3 years ago. The suede wasn’t as nice and it didn’t have the great tongue they put on the 92s. That tongue is always puffier on the 92 which I like. Here’s an old pick of the other skate pair in the same colorway I skated a few years back:


I really like those Tom Knox you posted above. They are on my list of shoes to try if for whatever reason they stop making half cabs or they start making them a different way that is impossible for me to skate/wear.

Appreciate it 👍 totally. I actually didn’t want to skate these but so glad I did. Dunks look so much better skated. I have a pair of those pink paris dunks from a few months ago that I changed my mind and plan on skating.
