Nice, yeah I can't get into the suburban NPC look of ON and Hoka. Been looking into Asics or a 1080 type NB as my next runner, these I would prob get for casual or the gym.

Just got Nyjah 4’s. Felt good and very light when tried on. Ready to go try em out. Hopefully break in quick.

Been a while since I had pants madness. ID on those trousers?
[close]

I'll get you the exact info next time I'm around them but they are some Former Austyn pants I got off Depop for like $20.  One of the best buys I've had on there.  Didn't know what to expect but they ended up being a great fit and super comfy

Awesome, thanks!

Went a little left field, saw these at a Nordstrom Rack and then found cheaper on Joe's, I like the pink with grey on these, chunky fuelcell outsole is decent on it, matches nicely with the new deck too. Also trying to finish off these old Lynx

I also got the pegasus premiums after looking at comfortable stack shoes. I tried em all. They also look the best. I rate them like this, my personal opinion

1. Nike pegasus premium
2. Asics gel nimbus 27
3. Hoka bondi 9
4. Nb more v5
5. Nb 1080 v3

I had a pair of More v5 that I chose over various Hoka (I just don’t dig that heel drop) and Brooks (which felt firm). I liked them quite a bit, but the uppers did kinda wonk out and the sole got too squishy. Ironically enough that all happened before the little tread bits wore off.

Yeah, Mores and Nimbus/Cumulus end up being too squishy for me. Hokas too. Novablasts as well. I need something a bit firmer, yet still higher stacked, since I'm a bigger dude (at least in comparison to usual runners...6'4", 190-195).

Usually, road to trail joints work well in that regard. Brooks Calderas (not Cascadias), Hoka Stinsons, Saucony Endorphin Trails, Asics Trabuco Maxes... And even though everyone absolutely hated them - Adidas Adistars, regular or CS. Guess you need some heft to activate them.

Now, Vomero 18s are a bit wobbly to run in, but that might be THE most comfortable shoe there is. Probably the first shoe where you feel like on a trampoline for a first couple hundred yards.

Scooped these for $39 and I’m thrilled. Always had a soft spot for Reebok. Their leather quality is leagues above Nike imo.

Not necessarily for the strand but kick flips are more pleasant with shoes on those morning flat ground sessions.

matching your laces to your toenail polish is the new meta. Sick as hell
