all the dudes in that thread are really into it and i guess i just went a different direction when a i was a young impressionable teen kook .. saw some go the emo route and i was not about that lifestyle so went the stereotypical wanna be stoner and got into equally questionable music like expendables, phish so on.. my chick gives me shit every time she catches me listening to that stuff still or if i try and talk shit on somethin she’s currently into, she easily comes back with “sorry it’s not slightly stoopid” .. she wins every time with that

i was only into core punk bands when i was a teenager, like pennywise and bad religion. i was living that hardcore rebellious life from my parents comfy cul-de-sac home. i had no time for whiny shit like save the day.
