One of my roommates introduced me to Letterkenny recently and it's been making me crack the fuq up.
Fuckin' love Letterkenny. Every time I see one of my friends I always say "E, how are ya now?" "Good and you?" "Oh, not's'bad." Extremely quotable.
I am stoked that you guys enjoy this show, but I do't even understand what is funny about it. Its just one liners and mindless banter and making light of regional dialect. Which is funny for a moment, but doesn't really have any substance.
Americans seems to really enjoy it.
Am I alone on this one?
I don't watch more than an episode or two at a time for that reason. For me it's just a fun light-hearted thing to watch here and there.
I am glad I am not alone.
i just feel like its trailer park boys, but not funny, and not in the Maritimes
It's pretty lighthearted. Considering how warped my sense of humor has become Letterkenny's a good way to laugh at more regular things.
i don’t get how this is funny
Well the show does this crazy thing where it has jokes, funny acting, and silly scenarios.
what we are trying to say is, their attempt at jokes, funny acting and silly situations do not resonate as "funny" to certain people, while others seem to find it very funny.
I watched one episode, it was just one liners and regional dialect, if I laughed, I would be lying to myself.
