Watched Ford v. Ferrari last night—which takes place in the 1950s—and in the background of one very long, emotional scene you can clearly see a bunch of skaters skating at a modern public skatepark… surrounded by painstakingly chosen era-appropriate automobiles.

The producers took so much care in getting the era just right, except for that one glaring anachronism.

I remember watching it a ton as a kid as embarrassing as it is to admit lol. I'm kinda surprised he didn't mention how during the "street" skating the main character was goofy footed but during the vert scenes his stance suddenly became regular footed.
