I broke my leg the same way, only a little lower, in the beggining of October and started skating in the end of January. Best of luck to you man.
[close]

damn, so quick ?

did your break look worse or better than mine ?

i dont want to try to skate to early and mess it all up then miss the whole summer....
[close]

Pretty much the same, just a clean break with no other damage, just a bone. To be honest, I should have waited a couple weeks, maybe a month longer, but its all good now. I still have a titan thing in it, and it hurts from time to time, but nothing to be concerned with. Maybe I was just lucky, but I feel like my leg is stronger now than it was before, outside of the pain I mentioned.
[close]

so you had surgey ?
they left mine as it were.... i dont know if thats good or bad (i think bad... swedish healtcare...)

Yeah, I had a surgery, they put a metal screw to hold it all together in, the end of November I started walking slowly + physical therapy. In January I started skating, but only rolling around in a miniramp, I did a first real ollie or kickflip maybe a month ago.

Getting all my fat old lazy shit head friends together to go skate at the same time is biblical-task level difficult, and whenever I manage to make it happen it fucking rains.

I went and had a quick but very pleasant session this morning. I hopped on my board for the ten feet from the car to the door when I got home and ate shit so hard. I tore the knee of my favorite pants that I've had for like 3 years and now I have to start that process all fucking over again.

My fuck buddy came over last night and she was on her period. I actually watched the movie we were watching and Owen Wilson was in it.

Had to put one of our dogs down on Sunday.  This is the first dog I've ever had to do that with (lost a cat previously).  It's really, really heavy.

He was a wonderful guy, we adopted him as a senior.  They guessed he was around 12 and we had him for almost 3 years, so 15 is a good long life.  The 3 years we had him he was treated like a king, so it makes me happy knowing he was so happy in his later years.

It is brutal though... we noticed he was slowly declining in his old age, but everything was normal and fine on Saturday night, and on Sunday morning we noticed something was wrong.  10 hours later he was gone.  The house feels empty (even with 2 other dogs), his presence was huge.  Taking him out was the first thing I did every single morning, so waking up on Monday was hard.  I miss him like crazy.

RIP little man

Sorry to hear, bud. It's nice knowing they were happy and comfortable in their last years.

I put my dog down right before Christmas and I'm still not over it. I've lost pets before, but she was the first one I helped raise from a tiny pup. She lived with my parents, but even when I moved out I came back very regularly to take care of her and make sure she wasn't alone. It's been three months and I still have to restrain myself from calling out for her when I stop by their house.

My parents and brother had a pretty bad falling out last night. I'm hoping that cooler heads will prevail after a few days, but, man is it fucked up at the moment.

Im sorry to hear that man.  Things arent going that great for me on the home front as well.  I know you said it was your brother, but damn does it suck being grown and getting into it with your parents and you still live under their roof.
would you rather read an abudabi post or have a screwdriver shoved up your ass?

You get my messages or what?

Not stoked on this new apartment and how much of a dump it is. Moldy bathroom ceiling getting ripped out right now. These poor workers in there without masks on... Kinda fucked. At least the ceiling's getting fixed.

Went to Knoxville to try and get a trick i rolled my ankle on last year. Got to the spot got in a few tries and then got Popsicled pretty hard. The back of my thigh just under my ass cheek is scraped up and turning purple. Haven't sat comfortably in 2 days, and still didn't get the trick.

Fuck me. I filled up both our vehicles yesterday and both ran fine.

After sitting my chevy runs but shakes like a motherfucker. The jeep only turns over if you give it gas and the whole vehicle shakes.

Either someone put water in my fuel line or I got very bad gas.

Now I gotta syphon the tanks, see if it has water in it. If it does im lookin at an easy $1200 fix for each vehicle.

Im gonna check the fuel lines in the am and see whats up.

I cant even get to fuckin work till I have a working vehicle for fuck sakes.

Good part is my boss knows what up and isnt sweating me on it. Bad news its cost $400 bucks a day to be away from work.

Fuck

glutton.

I accepted that I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life and gave up on trying for a while. Then, a couple weeks ago, this girl started touching my chest while we were at a party. She said, "You have really nice pecs," and kissed my neck. Then, she told me that she thinks I'm real handsome and sweet. She said she always felt that way but was in a long-term relationship. I didn't feel right doing anything because of how drunk she was. She ended up going home without saying anything. I've tried to take her out to dinner or just chill but she doesn't seem interested, which made me feel kind of autistic.  The only reason she wanted me was because she couldn't have me. Now, she doesn't want me because I want her.  I just wish people didn't get my hopes up.

Damn man, girls know how to twist a guy up. I've been in a funk lately regarding the fairer sex. Feeling disinterested and not hopeful of finding someone that will get me. Maybe it's time to take a step back or something.
