You guys should get married. I fucking dream of being alone for the rest of my life. It's a legitimate fantasy sometimes, and I have zero problems in my relationship. I hope I wake up tomorrow and I'm the only person left alive. I'll just sit there and silently do nothing until I die and it'll be the best.

I accepted that I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life and gave up on trying for a while. Then, a couple weeks ago, this girl started touching my chest while we were at a party. She said, "You have really nice pecs," and kissed my neck. Then, she told me that she thinks I'm real handsome and sweet. She said she always felt that way but was in a long-term relationship. I didn't feel right doing anything because of how drunk she was. She ended up going home without saying anything. I've tried to take her out to dinner or just chill but she doesn't seem interested, which made me feel kind of autistic.  The only reason she wanted me was because she couldn't have me. Now, she doesn't want me because I want her.  I just wish people didn't get my hopes up.
at least u have really nice pecs tho

I've been shitting my brains out since I got to work at 5 this morning. I think I might need to cut back on my coffee consumption... Or I'm just sick...

Yesterday, I was in hospice with my grandmother all day. She had been struggling with cancer for years despite not drinking or smoking since the 80s. she no longer had most of her motor skills and her eyes were a deep yellow. Saying my final goodbye was hard. about an hour and a half later, I got the news that she had passed. I miss her. The icing on the shit cake is that my dad's dog died of cancer that morning, and the last couple times I saw it it didn't remember who I was despite loving me since I was a toddler.

That's rough. I work in EMS right now, for a private ambulance company. We see a lot of people who just get stuck in homes and forgot about. At least she had someone there for her when it mattered.

My grandma finished out her shift in hospice care. Me and my cousin managed to talk her caregivers into letting us get her wine drunk before she went. She was just happy to get to have a moment with two of her grandchildren before it was over.

I worked in a nursing home for two years and also did some internship in hospice social work. I am deeply sorry for both of your losses. Your grandmothers were lucky to have y'all for grandchildren.

My situation happened over 10 years ago. I do appreciate the thoughts though. I'll be seeing my other grandma, and last remaining grandparent this summer. She is probably pushing it. She's been obese for many years and is pushing 80. I feel like a shit bag, because the most prolific trait that I got from my dad is my lack of communication with people that I care about, and are a long distance away from me. If it wasn't for my job this summer I probably wouldn't even see her. I am a shit head.

I'm sorry for your loss...

Nothing that heavy, but we had some mold on the ceiling in our new apartment. They ripped out the bathroom ceiling and the wood was soaking wet. They wanted to hang Sheetrock right away but I told them to get fucked and called the city building department who sent out an inspector. Long story short, mold was way worse and we've been staying in a motel for the last few days. Probably won't be back until Wednesday or Thursday after everything's taken care of. They're paying $150 a day for us to get a room. If I hadn't called the city and let them do what they wanted, we'd still be breathing that shit.

I hadn't seen one of my best friends for about 3 years, cause he's been living in NYC.
We kinda lost touch for a bit, but he just moved back to Philly, and we spent the last few days kicking it hard.

It's awesome that he's back, but I think he kinda turned into a cokehead. Also really into Buddhism now, which is kinda cool actually, just rough to listen to all that when he's coked up.

I don't care if people do that stuff, I'll do some bumps a few times a year myself even, but it just weirded me out that he was trying to do it all secretly though, and not even doing a good job of hiding his usage.

Like if he was just more open about it (or even offered me a bit), it wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much. But I feel like when you start to try to hide your drug use, from one of your best friends even, it's not a good sign.

And also I let him borrow $150 for the week :-\ It's not life or death if it turns out he actually is a cokehead and blows the money, but I really hope this doesn't turn into some drama.

Bought a brand new board today, its a 5boro. Said it was a size 8, well the skateshop i went to had it under the size 8 rack. Felt really weird skating today and i just measured it and its shorter than a 8. I have ocd when it comes to my board sizes and im fucking pissed right now.

Anyone have this experience before? Can i get my money back or exchange my board?

yeah, he lost most of the little bit of humility he had to begin with. He's still my dude though, but fuckin New York...

Not stoked on being pretty hungover, falling asleep with the lights on so I'm still exhausted, and now having to spend the day moving stuff in the rain  :'(

Bought a shop board a couple years back from one of the local shops out here that has since closed down. They told me it was an 8.5; I brought it home and set it up and right when I rode around for a bit I knew right away that there was no way it was an 8.5. It measured out closer to 8.25. I couldn't even tell when I stood on it in the shop. Sometimes you don't know for sure until it's gripped and you have your trucks on. I ended up trying to skate it for half a sesh but I just couldn't make it work, so I sold it to a friend for super duper cheap. As for the shop taking it back, it's really 50/50 since it's already been skated.

Yeah it worked out for me, shop was nice enough to give me another board. I gave the old the one to my friend, which i only skated for a couple of hours.

Nice!!! Ive returned 8 boards in one day when we had a local shop.

Had to be something wrong with them? Cold shipping maybe or some shit. One indoor session in the winter and 8 broken boards???

In turn though he sent them back to the distrubution and was comped so all was good.

Wish that shop was still around, owner was the best guy ever!

When it closed he opened a tim hortons and made a small fortune hahaha, good for him!

glutton.

My roommate never cleaned anything since he moved in. There's always shaved pubes on the toilet seats and I often hear him fucking guys. He owes me for electricity bills since January. I had to use sanitizing wipes, instead of showering, because he was in the bathroom for over an hour.

I was asleep while she was pissing and I was awakened by her running away from the scene of the crime, I then spent the next few hours trying to clean my mattress with little success and just crashed on the couch. she chose my bed because her litter box is in my roommates room and the door was closed. I thew away the comforter but some of the piss got onto my mattress and can't seem to get the smell off.
