You never really know a person till you live with them. Had a few instances back in my day that reminded me of  this sentiment. Gals can be just as slobs as dudes. I remember I got into an argument about it as she had lots of panties piled up in my closet, I asked  "hey what is going on with this pile"? I could sell them to some creepers?  instantly she got super mad and barraged me with insults and accusations of shit I wasn't even thinking of.  Had to move out and take my quiver of gear with me, I hate living with people in general it's usually me duffel bag of gear and a few boards and I collect shit again.

I mean, the moon does influence the tides. It's also a piece of earth that flung out into orbit billions of years ago when another space object hit us and tilted our axis 23.5 degrees which in turn largely effected our seasons. I'd say the moon is plenty powerful. Also it's pretty, made of cheese, and a man lives on it.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Wife had the news on at 5 in the morn n saw a story bout a 71 year old killing his daughter then called police n waited for them. Didn't think nothing of it aside from that was really fucked n went to work. Talked to my mom today on my break like I do every other day or so n she told me my uncle killed his daughter (my cousin). Never thought I would see family on mainstream news under these circumstances...

Damn. That sucks dude.

A few years ago one of the dudes I grew up with and skated with every day killed someone during a drug deal gone wrong. It’s weird when the stuff you see on the news that you think will never effect you hits really close to home.

Accidentally got into a carpool ramp thinking it was a freeway ramp (I'm new to driving and not used to driving in LA).

We all skated at friends houses growing up. We used to skate at my friend’s uncles sometimes. All his cousins were little and would play soccer and shit while we skated. One of those kids a few years later grew up and got in gangs. He followed some kid in a liquor store and told him they were gonna kill him. They waited for him to come out, chased him and murdered him. He’s doing life now. It’s crazy when I think how young and innocent he was. He was one of the better kids.

Yeah it was a gang thing. But the kid he killed wasn’t in gangs. He was walking with some kids to get snacks. The crazy thing is I came out to chill once after moving. Before he did this. And he was all gangstered out talking because he was all drunk. And out of the blue he says he shot at someone and tried to kill them but didn’t. It fucked with me for a while because I didn’t know if he was full of shit or what and then he killed the one kid a couple years later and got life thank god.

The kid they killed was 16. I think he was the same age when he did it. No older than 20. If I look out my front window or open my door I can see the store they confronted him at. They chased him from the store past where I lived. And chased him into a lot and killed him when he was hiding in some bushes. So I live pretty much in between the store and where he was killed. The store and the murder scene are less than a quarter mile apart. I had moved away before it happened but I just realized right now I should lookup which liquor store it was and it’s like 200 yards away.

one of the the ex skate homies moved into doing MMA a couple years back, guy was making a name for himself and shit going to south africa for fights, started getting rounds with prominent names etc. had a fight scheduled in dublin next week, got medicals done beforehand, neurologist said they found some issues with his CT scans. guy went to london and paid a private specialist to look into it - frontal lobe slightly seperated, 3 dark spots on the brain and the start of brain disease. genuinely feel bad for the guy, put so much fucking work in to the point he had sponsorships and could quit his job to pursue it full time, made a name for himself, had a good record etc and the whole things just been taken away. definitely a blessing in disguise cus god only knows what couldve happened if he took a few more hits to the head but fuck still sucks to put all that work in and it's just ended.

What's shitty about living/volunteering in low income areas there's a fucked up nihilistic view either passed down by older heads in their family or the age old it doesn't get any better so why try type of attitude.

Couple days ago I was at my favourite park. It was just me and a random little kid, around noon. The park is close to a school, so he must've been on lunch. He had a can of spray paint though, so maybe not.

Anyway, the park is beside a large community centre. As I was skating I saw a derelict-looking couple sit against a wall of the centre somewhat far away. They were watching me and the kid.

I keep skating, not thinking of it. Then I look back and see the woman take off her pants and mount the guy. You can see her ass and she's moving up and down.

They're right beside a school, there's a little kid at the park, I don't want to see that. So I yelled at them GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. They stopped and looked at me and started to leave.

Then they went to the benches at a baseball diamond beside the park. I saw her sit down and him stand in front of her, for obvious reasons. Again, this is in broad daylight, school close by, kid in the park. So even more furious I yelled GET - THE FUCK - OUT. And again they stopped and started to slither away. It was even more surreal because it looked like they both had jackets, and both of them draped their jackets over their shoulders like they'd just been fired. Not too long after that a cop car sped by with lights flashing so who knows.

Yeah, it sucked. I hope they don't come back. And I'm not really that guy to scream and get angry in public but that kind of shit sets me off.

Got into a car crash Driving home from work on Friday, on the highway, slowed down Half mile before my exit, there was a line of cars building up in front of me as there always is. The lady behind me was probably on her phone, didn’t slow down and reared ended me at a pretty high speed, threw my car into the guard rail and totaled it. I was okay and didn’t need an ambulance and neither did she. Bummed I have to get a new car and deal with all that shit, and I’m extremely sore, neck and back hurt but it’s just general soreness.

Shit sucks, drive safe, lotta idiots out there. Shalom.

Glad you’re ok pal. Whiplash sucks ass. Getting a new car is a hassle but it will only take a couple hours when all is said and done and then you’ll have a new car and it will feel nice for a bit.

So my local park has redone the surface all these prefabricated ramps with some weird soft wrestling material that is bouncey.

Imagine if you will a decent park but they redone it to cater to the scooter kiddos where they fall and it’s softened surface.

Absolute garbage surface where you will stick and it slows you down. It’s not shalom at all.

You should get checked out . I’ve been rear ended a few times and it’s caused me major back damage . I regret not getting checked out . Things could get worse over time . Your back could go out later on down the road doing something stupid but it’s the result of the car accident .

Today I fucked my ankle by wearing a shoe from two different pairs (same model, just different fabric) and one of them had no insole. It'll probably be good tomorrow, but I still feel bad for getting hurt over something that stupid.

Do what you can man. Take a walk on break if you can. Anything positive helps. I know that feeling. We do 9 hour days and then I work overtime voluntarily when it’s available to help with money. Hang in there. But make sure you enjoy your time off. At work don’t stress to hard about getting shit done. Tell yourself it’s just a job and it always works out in the end. Shalom.
