There is a lot of good pictures here. I enjoyed looking through the thread. I wish i was more into photography like a lot of you here are. I actually have experimented a bit with my Nikon D80 but i need to get more into photoshop again.
Keep posting!

^^^Damn, dope too. I really like the high contrast on the black and whites. I am assuming you use film too right? Is that all natural or do you treat the film or do post processing to make it that way? I shoot digital and even when I do massive photoshop stuff, it doesn't look right.

Some stuff back a couple of weeks ago.

yeah, i leave everything all natural.  i lucked out with the kodak film that i picked up in bulk awhile back, all of the stuff i've shot with it turns out pretty nice as far as contrast and true b&w is concerned.

i like your stuff a lot, especially the first.

i got another roll back today. i visited these girls in berlin and made a couple of pictures at the holocoust memorial.

fongstarr, i like your stuff, but get rid of the grey frame and do not try to do this part bw/ part colour pics - it never looks good. but you have an good eye and the pictures are set well.

^^^Thanks dude. I know the frames suck but I post on a blog and it just looks better on there. Your stuff is awesome. I still feel like I need to learn a lot but for some reason I am just finding it hard to shoot things. I would love to get into film as well but I feel like I should just get a handle on the digital thing since I put so much money into it already.

Here are some old stuff just to post things.

Awesome. Any chance you remember your lighting setup? I'm getting my first good flash (SB-600) on Monday. Trying to do as much research about lighting as I can.

Should have some of my stuff developed soon so I post it.  I'm looking at getting the kit to develop at home because rolls are backing up on me.

I might if I had any decent prints of my own to offer up.
I'm also in need of a tripod though so hopefully someone can throw out some advice.

"get the standard bogen/manfrotto tripod.  they are super common, whether new or used, and you dont need anything more heavy duty when shooting MF.   get a three-way head (tilt side to side, tilt back and forth, and swing side to side) with some built in spirit levels.  ball heads arent worth it...   oh, a strap is handy too, for walking about."

sebastian toombs is still lurking this thread and that was his answer. hopefully he doesn't mind when i post these private secrets ^^

if somebody wants to have a special picture, that i posted in this thread, just drop me a line. easiest way.
