I'm glad that all of you like the portraits. a friend of mine asked me to take the pictures of her family and I was like yeah, whatever, I do that. sometimes you don't even put effort into something and it turns out pretty good.

camera was a hasselblad 500cm with an 80mm lens and 2 close up lenses screwed on top (all in all +3). film was a kodak t-max 400 developed in x-tol.

why would you sell that? you piece of shit.  are you some kind of carny?  Just looking to get by ripping off all your closest friends?   Good move putting a picture of yourself on the auction.  You won't even see me coming...

i'm assuming this is an off-site bid.  sold!  yours in exchange for a pleasant plank or another print.

p.s.  i really should take care of that self-snap though.  i'm probably being triangulated, microchipped and google street view'd as i type...

First two are in Venice, Italy...being only an hour train ride from my town, my family and I visited there constantly. The castle is in Germany, it's the Neuschwanstein Castle.

Checking in on this thread is inspiring, as always. Matze, Hasselbladical.. mostly everyone is doing their thing and getting great images.

Got back from New York two weeks ago, been laying on the couch ever since with major muscle pains (side-effects from medicine). Feeling sorta down, I decided to buy some stuff for myself, seeing how my birthday is coming up and well, fuck it, I enjoy looking at and feeling old photo equipment.

Ended up buying a Leica M6 and a Summicron 50mm. Got the cam which feels so good, but the lens got hold up in customs so a couple more days. Being so stoked, I ended up buying a Hasselblad 500CM aswell. Pretty much full package with 50,80,150 lenses, a couple of filmbacks, polaroid back, set of flashes,  close up lenses, etc.

Spend way to much money, but what's the use of money if you can't spend it. Uncle stopped by aswell the other day with his car filled up with darkroom equipment. Turns out the local newspaper just gave it away, so he passed it on to me. Complete with everything one could want, which means my stoke-o-meter is completely full!

All I gotta do now is recover, and hopefully next week I'll get to use some of this.

Grey freezing day in England, took the camera out for a bit. Some shit came out pretty cool, experimenting with longer exps on film and moving things in and out of frame after flashing.

Hah, nah, but I've been saving about 1800$ a
month the last year and a half, and living at home I pretty much have no expenses.

Is your couch made of $100 dollar bills?

It's actually my parents camera, I didn't have the money back then to afford one. And yeah, Venice is a nice city to visit. I had the opportunity to go on a field trip during carnevale but turned it down...I regret it, but visiting there many times made up for it. Did you take a gondola ride?

No gondola ride. Italy was in my top 3 favorite places to visit in Europe.
