It's long, but how about "skaters looking at pictures"? Seems appropriate.  =)

I found some old negatives from back in 2004 when I was going to school in Boston and Pat Stiener was crashing on my dormroom floor with this filmer dude Mike Svenson filming for his part and entry into Slap's OIAM that year (not really sure what season or who won that year, but something tells me it was maybe the year of Coakley?)

Anyways, I never made prints because they weren't shot all that perfect, and my darkroom skills/caring for my film "properly" was never really priority. So made my own digital enlarger by putting them in an old handheld single slide viewfinder  that looks kinda like this thing

and then photographed, inversed and edited them a little with an app all on my phone.

Film from the past, reborn in the binary of today!

Cause of your sig name, I always thought you were way older with at least a beard.

How did you setup a studio? Did you use external flashes or was that shot with just studio lights?

Fong, I used an external flash and a studio strobe light.
I could definitely use another to get rid of that shadow.

I love shooting with this guy. Homie to the heart. I really wish i didnt have the reflection at the bottom of the bank, but we didn't have much time to set up and skate, so i couldn't move my flashes around too much. Its a nollie back heel by the way.

This is a park in the middle of the city, with perfect ground and nothing to skate. It has been taken over by drug dealers and shit like that, so nobody really uses this amazing plaza. They tried putting up basket stuff and now tabletennis, but what the fuck do they expect? The only thing they need to do is to put 4 granite curbs in there, and then people would start using the park again, if skateboarders use it others will use it too, cause then it cant be too bad, you know? Fuck this city council. And the trick is a crooks.

I have been thinking about maybe making a watermark or some shit? Do people use that? Or does it take too much away from the photo?

I can't stand watermarks of anykind on photos unless its on the back of a print.
Your subject and composition are supposed to be more important than your credit, and putting a little consistently distracting doohickey in the corner of all your shots to me, is like if you were to stand infront of your photos at a gallery, blocking people from seeing them, and just constantly introducing yourself over and over.
It's a pet peev, and I know piracy is tough now-a-days...but...is it tough enough to have to be so lame?
Imagine if StarWars had a little Lucas films logo in the bottom corner of the whole movie...

Yeah, I hate watermarks. If you catch someone online using your photo with out permission, big deal just confront them. You still own the rights to the photo. watermarks suck

I was thinking about this earlier.

I used to add watermarks to my photos when I was younger. But only because I thought it looked cool.
But now I'm a little lazy and think it ruins the photo a little.

If you guys want I can setup the shared tumblr account.  Silly Little Art Project sounds pretty rad compared to just slappals, so i'm leaning towards that.

Any objections, other suggestions?
