I know I am super late on this but has everyone seen these videos? I just stumbled upon them while googling Jonathan Mehring from his Shoot All Skaters segment on the Berrics. I never even knew what Acosta looked like and he's like my favorite phographer:

working on a depth of field project for class.

the image is a little cropped, my old negative scanner appears to have shit the bed so i'm using a gifted one from my step-dad.
super lucky he happened to have it. made prints of this today in the lab. turned out ok.

Love that you start posting pictures here. I have been waiting for that since 2008. Are you still using the olympus pen?

edit: I have a problem actually: when I scan my bw negatives they tend to look like shit. what do you do to make them look good?

Yeah, still using the PEN FT, had to get a new body last year. old one finally died after many years of service.
have been shooting more with the k1000 these past months.
was up late last night working on my first class presentation, got these three done.
the school lab ran out of developer in the darkroom and for processing film. set me back since i have three more rolls to develop and make prints from.
not sure, maybe it's the settings you are using? i don't do much in photoshop, just darken the blacks and use the highlight/shadow levels. stuff that i can do in the darkroom.

what scanner and software you using matze?

turn off unsharp mask option and everything else just scan it raw and make it a little bit sharper with photoshop or lightroom 'cause using a flatbed scanner I can't get all the sharpness that exists in the negative

I have almost the same recipe scanning as randozzi. keepin' it simple so I don't ruin the shooting on film principle

Woah, Dustin. You skate 2ntr a lot?

I skated that park about a month ago for the first time in a while. I used to go there a lot more when I was still living upstate.
