yeah he's almost more famous for this board than his skating

but he was super good back then just never had a ton of coverage. Dude has the most buttery style you have ever seen.

Shot this today. I was psyched on it because it's one of those spots I've driven by a bunch and always said someone needs to skate this. I ended skating with some new dudes and I got a ton of photos from this guy, David Cobb, and Brendan Keaveny.

every thing about that spot and photo is sick as fuck

Just some silly photo of me and my cat after one of his surgeries while testing my flashes for another photo. Out of no where he couldn't pee and had a block in his uterus. Over a week later with so many other complications and 2 surgeries cause by this initial block, I get him home tomorrow where I think he might have days to live.

Not to turn this into a PSA but if you guys have cats, remember to feed them a good wet diet and get pet insurance. Overall this has been one gigantic learning experience and as a result, I am going to lose my cat from it. Dumb to even stress over I know.....but my dude Bodhi has been the best pet ever.

^ How is that dumb to stress over? Pets are awesome and that's horrible that you might have to lose your cat.

I think there is a balance with pets with the money spent on helping them and the scale is even worse for cats. If I told you how much my girl and I spent on the vet bills for this whole thing and in only a week, you'd think we're nuts cause almost everyone we spoke to would have put him down a long time ago....and not cause the surgeries couldn't help him but more so cause it doesn't seem worth it. Maybe cause this is Slap and I feel like skaters and cats go hand in hand (from what I see anyways) but I think most people would have a price cap on saving their cats. The reason why we are doing it is cause he's only 3 years old and I can't help but feel responsible since we think this had to do with him eating an excessive amount of dry food his whole life.

But I think he lost about 8 lives from this all and we're at the end of his rope. He comes home with a colostomy bag now in hopes his uterus heals in 5 days from tears and that is if he starts eating and drinking water (which he hasn't). If not, we have to finally put him down.

Bummer man. That really does suck. I don't know how much money my girl and I would spend to make our little fur ball healthy as we haven't had to deal with anything massive yet. I think it would be quite a bit though.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Thanks! Submissions for Issue Two are gonna open up late spring/early summer, if that's what you meant. Not sure if there's gonna be a theme or anything for Two, but I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Nice, solid first camera.  It was one of my first real cameras and always end up going back to it.

The zine looks really good Cadillac, going to order one tonight.

My grandfather's AE-1P was my first camera. I love that thing.

I'm trying to find help searching for a new film camera. I have an av-1 but it appears to be broken! I'm looking for a lightweight reasonably cheap
point and shoot camera that takes decent skate/ landscape photos, by cheap I mean hopefully under $200.
Any recommendations will help! Really digging this thread btw, its part of the reason I'm looking for a new camera

I actually came across one of the Leica Mini Zoom cameras for $100 online and was wondering if they were any good, Ive read they are not really comparable to the leica's people pay thousands for.

Check out the Stylus Epic (the original fixed lens version, not the zoom).  Never shot with one, but the stuff i've seen taken with them blows me away.  Same sort of deal as a mini zoom, except you'll probably be able to find one for cheaper.  And no way they're comparable to the M series Leicas, but that's not really a point against it considering it makes no sense to compare the two in the first place.
