i recently bought a used Fuji X100S. wanted a smaller camera to have on me all the time, and since i am usually too lazy to actually get film from my smaller cameras developed i went with this one. took it on a hike to compare it with my dslr, but after a few shots the dslr just stayed in my bag. super happy with it so far.

Very nice work Matze! What setup and film were you using for those medium format shots?

Thanks, man! I have a Hasselblad 500cm with a 80mm with a broken shutter (these blurry skate pics are not on purpose) and a 150mm. The cliff picture is done with a Fuji GA645zi. I use mostly Ektar and Tmax. They're the best.

The beauty of these small mirrorless cameras is in their size - I always keep mine in the goggles pouch of my backpack.

My Hasselblad/Zeiss 80mm 2.8 died, so I gave it to the repair guy. He wrote me back, that the team tried for 8 hours to fix it, but since the parts are from 3 different lenses they had to give up. Funny how you don't know a thing about the history of a 40 year old lens.

Nice! I'm not actually acquainted with him, but I know him and see him around sometimes.

On another note, I'm in a photo class right now and I'm hoping to share some pictures in here some time soon. Once I gain access to the film scanner I suppose.

Kind of nervous to post these because all of you guys are really good... I'm in a black and white photo class right now and these are some things I've done. It's my first ever photo class and my first time taking a lot of pictures with something that isn't my phone. I know it's not why you guys are here, but I'd really appreciate any sort of feedback!

Dude, don't be nervous! This is the only thread on Slap where I've personally never seen shit slung so people should always feel safe here. Those are definitely some good photos for your first foray into black and white photo. I'm currently teaching high school photo and I definitely started appreciating the process of developing skills a lot more. As a skateboarder, you naturally have a more interesting view of the world than most people, and I'm pretty sure most people here would agree with that. I especially like the American flag and truck shot!

Everyone in my area stopped developing film, so I have 5 rolls laying around. I was hoping to post them in here, but oh well.

Some skate photos:

This wasn't a land, we're going back to re-shoot it eventually. It's a little dark, I gotta fix that

Thanks! Those are my favorites too. I probably could've just posted those, but I figured I'd show a little more

Wait, I forgot to upload this one. I like this one a fair amount too.

HSS, your pictures are good! Are those scanned prints?
Like Josh said, there are no rules here and everyone is very welcome to contribute. Iphone, DSLR or film photography: everything is welcome. And if you want to have a critique there are many persons here who can HELP you - it's not the skateperception forum.

Thank you! They're scanned negatives. I just learned how to do that yesterday. And also this goes out to anyone, please feel free to be as critical as you want of anything I do. I'm new to this; I want that, and it'll probably help.
