i quit basically the same way. was at the dentist, he said "dont smoke for 3 hours", i didnt do it, got caught up in other stuff and voila, close to 3 years of nicotine-free life.

the wac thing is that the main thing stopping me from quitting is work, i simply cant go through a whole work day without breaks with a stress reliever every now and then. i tried swapping my fag breaks for coffee (well... hot chocolate) breaks but that was just too expensive and makes my stomach feel ill

Wait, what? How could hot chocolate be a more expensive vice then cigarettes? Sounds like someone's just making up reasons to quit quitting.

well a pack of cigs costs about £6 and will last me a few days, a hot choc will be about £3 every time i want a break

Got my Arcade Fire tickets, had some fucking bomb blueberry pancakes for dinner while watching Rocko's Modern Life, and I'm finally starting to feel real happy with where I'm at. Things are going real well.

me and my ex-lady are on this weird secretive bootycall kind of deal now.
I don't mean to be a bummer, but it'll only lead to heartbreak. Best to bail out now before you start to think you have another chance.

you're assuming that he wants it to turn back into a relationship. the beauty of the bootycall is in not having to deal with the bullshit that comes with relationships.

I sold a car for my wife a few years ago (my deceased father in law's) using Craigslist, within an hour after posting the ad I had about 10 responses, and the first person to respond wound up buying it.

Day before yesterday, I put up my old Chrysler PT turbo at about 1 in the morning... I'd made a web gallery of the car at every angle, even the treads, made a very clumsy 15 minute video walk around (fiddling with everything in the car, offering the many stickers on the back of it as a free bonus), and wrote the most complete ad ever. When I woke up at 5 the same morning, my inbox was crushed and my ad had been pulled (seems that some people will flag the shit out of an ad so it'll get removed, so there's no competition on getting it).

Anyway, the first dude that responded it on his way over to give me a $500 deposit until I get all the paperwork taken care of, and then I'm off to New Orleans to buy a sweet little Canon VIXIA HV30 (also on Craigslist) since the CMOS in my Sony is dying.

When I get back, I'm taking photos of some dogs for sale at my neighbor's kennel, and I'm being paid in smoke.

Haha!?  I am in Afghanistan.

Speaking of, I got some dope photos of Bamiyan coming.?  Bamiyan was once the home the world's largest standing Buddha statues (the Taliban destroyed them all in 2001) and a couple phtos of a place called The City Of Screams
Nice, I saw a documentary on that a while back.  Why are you in Afghanistan?  Miltitary or Civillian work?
