i just got a job interview for this afternoon and this will be the first time i've been legally/officially employed since april of 2001.
its been a great 10 years of slacking and skating but it had to come to an end at some point.
if for whatever reason i don't get it, i will take it as a sign from the skate gods and i shall return to my slacking skater ways.
wish me luck or don't, i'm winning either way, haha!

I'm interviewing for a new job next week. If I get it, I'm told this will be the chick I work will be training with. Big step up from the fat dude that trains the other people there.

Went to see my surgeon today and he said he has never seen anyone heal so fast!!  STOKED!  Been slowly starting to skate again, and even though I have to take it easy, it feels great to skate again.

^ Rad!

I, too, had an interview today that went really well, followed by a session at a park I haven't been to in a while, then went to two thrift stores, then Burger King to eat two of those new Double Stackers... More like double STOKERS!

^dope!
seems like you had a lot more stoke than me.  all i did i just take the train home.  i would have love to skate afterward but there was no way i was going to bring my board to a job interview, i'm pretty sure that a big no-no.

the job i'm(hopefully) getting is in the meat packing district which means its only gonna be a 20 minute train ride for me, so hyped!  i just hope they don't expect me to work long hours, i'm really have no desire to work more than 20-25 hours a week.  money is nice and all but they can keep it, i want to skate and enjoy my life.

I went skating for a little today and I got a half cab backside 5050 frontside 180 out.  I decided that I wanted to learn it a while ago but it was too cold and I kept forgetting. Stoked!!

I had wrist surgery to fix an old broken bone.  I'm sure more than a few people on here have broken the same bone I did...the Scaphoid

i meant for that to say 1/2 a year, 7 months...

i tore the dorsal muscle/tendon that controls the upward flex of my right, pushing/popping foot. happened while i was running after a kid at my last job. i've been in a walking cast for a minute..... good luck with the after effects of surgery!

Well, I asked that girl to prom, even though she said wasn't going, she said yes. And then I have a movie date with her this weekend.
