the lame thing is, ive done a couple roofs too, and this would be the easiest job, except it is a bit higher and steeper than im used to, and also its just me -- i dont have anyone in kingston to help out.   its a bitch to come up with the money ($4000) but i guess it is a write off, and its better to pay for a new roof than for repairing the damage from a leaking roof.

I'm saving up for a trip here:

i hear F.Y.R.O.M. is beautiful this time of year...

what kind of body do you have? I went through all that this summer with so much uncertainty, i eventually landed on this lens called the "nifty fifty" its a prime lens so it has a fixed zoom and it has f/1.8 plus it was only 150$, if you have a canon

I've got a Nikon D50. I've got the 18-55 kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8. I don't know where to go next though cause I'm not sure I'd really use a telephoto and everything else gets really expensive really quick.

getting back into school for the spring semester. I don't think that i'll be able to work 60/week and go to school at the same time. this is going to be a headache.

i also need to purchase a new passenger side door and fender for my 2000 civic. a paint job too i suppose.

sorry to bring this up again guys, this tv situation is killing me, three times ive gone into the store and was about to buy and had uneasy anxiety and couldnt do it, first time i set on a 42" TOSHIBA 720p tv, after taxes, a 4 year warranty and an HDMI cable for my PS3 it was $1250.00 Which was WAY out of my pricerange, more and more though im realizing this is one buy that I cant go cheap on, i've ruled out 1080p tv's, as sick as they are they're way too expensive, size is the biggest deal for me, Im upgrading literally twice in size, does anybody have any experience with 720p and 1080p tvs?

I'm just saving in general so I can have a nest egg of 1500 or so in case something bad happens. I'm also saving to move down to Tampa. I'm also paying off some debt.

In between getting my nest egg and starting to save for moving I'm gonna take a check and buy all the shit I've been needing but haven't been able to buy because I'm trying to be smart with my money. New board, couple pairs of shoes, wheels, bearings, etc. some shirts, some jeans, etc. Looking forward to spending that check.

A plane ticket for winter break. I'm thinking Austin because I've never been there or San Diego because I miss my California friends. Which is a better winter destination? Anyone?

That would be a lot more expensive than somewhere within the continental US but I appreciate your input.

I would go with Austin, then again I hate socal and I have friends that live in Austin.  Never actually been there though.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Oh, by "in between" I meant like, "okay, my 1500 is in the bank, now I'm gonna start saving for my move." So after my savings is straight and before I start my moving fund.
