I know a decent amount of people who ride Ace in Canada. at least 20 people i can think of off the top of my head and i dont think they switch either. Theres so many i didnt realize.

Most people who ride Indy here dont really give a shit about their gear and are still riding like bones STF, 8", es shoes, etc. same shit they were riding 20 years ago for the most part.  theres a few i know who are die fuckin hard though of course.

I feel like everyone I know who rides thunders or ventures has truck madness and also rides like 3+ other truck brands and multiple setups... i am actually struggling to think of a single person i know who exclusively rides thunders or ventures in my area...

My local shop (I'm in New Jersey) cant move any of the Ace inventory they have. They said when they first came out that they were selling okay, so they ordered another 100 pairs and cant sell shit. Its been like 2 years and they can’t even give them away.

I find it hard to believe they “can’t give them away”. If that really is the case, what shop? I’ll make a trip from PA for some cheap aces..

Who orders 100 pairs of trucks at a time?

Remember several years ago when the board was infiltrated by randoms that made accounts to disparage Ace trucks?  I think I’m getting Deja vu

I see a lot of Ace in the wild. And was on some myself today. But maybe everyone in Jersey rides Indy because of Fred Gall.

out here ace is really populair. maybe more so than indy by now.
tho last time i went to grab some the shop seemed to have stopped stocking classics. which is what i needed. i got the last pair of 55s they found somewhere deep in storage, bushings discolored and all.
kinda odd move. as a lot of people swear by them.

Has anyone noticed that over the last 6-9 months there's significantly less skaters around in general? It's weird.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I was out riding. I was passing the new skatepark and I figured I’d roll by and see if anyone I knew was around, expecting a huge crew to be gathered, and there were like six people total. Same thing at my local, which a year or two ago would have sessions going until dusk with two dozen people around. Now I go there at 7:30 and it’s me and a few other randoms.

Yep. Lately when I go to the local there's usually just toddlers or scooter kids.

Skateboarding is cringe in 2025

I mean it was the best toy along with bikes before we had cellphones

But nowadays I don't think I would want to start skating

Especially if I hopped on slap and thought this is what skateboarders were like I would stay away with a 10 foot pole

Kids got way better shit nowadays

I'll put it like this, I'm a certified trend setter, and I quit like 2years ago, I can't if I want my legs are fucked. So boom if I quit imagine how many other people will quit

Trendsetter shit

I’m exactly like this. I use Venture for my 8” decks, Independent for my 10” and 8.5” decks and Ace for my 9” football shaped decks. 100% madness.

Be the change you want to see. Quit.

I see mainly Indy with a fair amount of Ace sprinkled in out in the streets.

Yeah, where did everyone go? Some of it is COVID-era newcomers quitting but what about everyone else? When I go to the skatepark it's pretty quiet, given I tend to go in the mornings.

One guy got ran off for having the wrong brand of shoes, one guy for having the wrong kind of board, and another one for having an incorrect tightness of trousers. One guy had everything right but he bought the stuff from the wrong shop and got ran off. One guy got ran off for supporting the current president but not before he ran off a couple for not supporting the current president.

Weekends at my local park used to be packed, but now I can go midday on a Saturday and likely will be the only one there, and everything will be sticky. But at the same time if I drive a bit to fancier parks, it’s somehow riddled with lifers and really young kids being coached by their parents, not many in between.

In Europe, Ace has undoubtedly become the best seller. It's followed by Indy, then Thunder, with Venture coming in last. Ace has been heavily promoting its brand, sponsoring through skate shops, giving away free merch, and more. Meanwhile, Independent, Thunder, and Venture have done almost nothing in terms of marketing with skateshops for years. Independent used to be one of the top sellers in clothing as well, but since they removed the Cross, sales have simply dropped...
It seems that Ace has managed to fill a gap in the European market that other truck brands had left behind.

Indy still does way more in terms of marketing than Ace in Europe and i seriously doubt it's outsold by Ace. Indy dropping the cross killed the clothing but there's no way Ace outsells it.

edit: gaps between list

Xavier Holt I think is misspelled. His ig has an E on the End. Unless they have combined Nick Bolts with Xavier for fun

Also I have a dope idea for a Marbie truck on Krux. I might draw it later.
