Uhhh so it’s 4:00 pm East Coast time… where video???

Let me guess this won’t actually be going live today because of “music rights” or some other bullshit excuse. Classic skateboard company not having their shit together

First impressions: the editing is really bad in some spots. The soundtrack is awful. Joa's footy is good. Jerry is still really good and has a good amount of footy in his shared part. Ryan's part was great but damn, Corey Glick's part is so fucking good. Probably my favorite part of the year.

Joa came thru with a lot of clips even tho most of them were pretty whatever combos

I don’t get Zack and Gabe, petty weak clips from them.

Akwasi felt like he had more b-roll than actual clips

Max was surprisingly good. Felt like he really tried to push himself.

Up to Arin’s part I felt like they all wanna be that wallie/zany combo guy. Arin had some good clips but pretty forgettable.

Jerry was great as expected.

Ryan Lay showing the youngins what it means to be a pro skater. Very good part and the highlight for me.

Corey had a lot of cool clips. Ender coulda been cleaned up though, especially for the last trick in the video.

vid was sick! Joa really came through, each part felt very distinctive, Ryan's part really stood out to me. Kinda appreciated the hectic music/editing - first vid in a while that has real character. Also appreciated the outro montage (really wish more skate vids did this these days.) Very enjoyable.

Well that was fucking sick.

Sci fi has a great team vibe, and all these guys really seem to fit well together.

I was surprised at how good joas part was tbh. Knew he had skills but there was a lot of seriously impressive shit in there.

Wasn't really hip to gabbe, so his shit surprised me (in a good way). Wacky fits, but cool tricks.

Cool to see Jerry still skating at such a high level.

Expected more from arin and Ryan lay tbh. Still had some good shit in there though.

Akwasi was sick, Glick was crazy.

Def saving this to my "full length" playlist on YouTube.

Nuff said.

Loved the part. Joa had some nice clips, big fan of Akwasi and all Jerry clips were awesome. I think Ryan deserved last part more but fuck it, Corey was nice too.

Some hilarious takes here. As if this isn’t exactly what a video from Sci-Fi would look like…

Glick and Lay's parts go incredibly hard.

I like that this feels like a polished homie video, as, for me, homie videos are what skating is all about.

As a terminally online 20-something, I knew I would like Joa's part, but he really did have some stuff in there that stands up.

Really liked Arin and Jerry sharing a part, felt like a kickback to the brand's roots.

Music was both hard hitting and humorous, which I feel is hard to do.

Zach's footage felt a little phoned-in, but quite liked the overall vibe of his part.

I wanna skate like Max.

Visuals were sick, very realised aesthetic (something a lot of companies struggle to do in their edits.)

Video felt like a whole bunch of marginal figures getting their flowers (including Matt King, whose been making really obscure, fringe edits for years.)

Tres biens all round.

I didn’t like the video as much as I thought I would

Corey and akwasi seemed like b roll apart from a few tricks

This video insists upon itself too much

Gabbe was a poor man’s Evan wasser

It’s not a bad video by any means it’s just not that good, definitely not VOTY

I think people are seeing things that aren’t there

Damn Max really had one of the skateboarding parts ever if you know what I mean.

Ryan Lay is where I’ll start the video from here on out. Nice warmup for the Glick magick
