And hotels are traditionally reserved nightly whereas motels are too but can be lived in for weeks or months on end (or, conversely, perhaps hourly, in some areas, if you get my drift). I'll give you an example, my old landlord had to make renovations at my apt so they put me up in a Motel. The first room I was given had McDonald's trash everywhere, it clearly hadn't been cleaned. The second room I got after complaining about that one, I went to turn on the lamp and it had a used condom hanging from it. Most folks would have just left after that, but I complained again and was given a two bedroom space that had no overt problems. Still, I slept on top of the bedsheets for the entire 4 days, 3 nights I was there and never used the shower.

I like Jeff as a person from the few interactions I have had with him so i dont want to blow him up too much here
but I feel like the kind of people who are on his instagram commenting "OMG DUDE YOU ARE THE FUCKING GREATEST EVER! HOW ARE YOU NOT IN THE OLYMPICS / SLS GETTING 9 CLUBS?!?!?!?" have a very low "Skate IQ". When I started skating, I was really into Danny Gonzales and Mullen. GLobe skaters for the most part besides G Mos, Jayme Fortune, were pretty low Skate IQ in retrospect.

Like Nyjah is even a better pick cause he has different phases of his career and stuff but still id say that is a fairly low skate IQ pick for your favorite skater. it is wild too because some peopel have insane amount of talent but just really low skate iq so they cant make a good part to save their life (Jagger Eaton).

I think also a similar thing when your skate IQ goes too high maybe you lose touch with reality...? i dont wanna sound too wack but i feel like skating maybe got to a point where its almost "Modern Art" (Aiden MAckey - no hatred here - one of my favorite skaters and i actually understand it, or i am just cooked...?)
