Other exceptions are Bennett/barley grinds. Saying bigspin in is just churching it up

Older skaters are too quick to retire to the slappy curb. Unless you have a chronic injury that won’t allow you to ollie you’re selling yourself short and are probably just lazy and/or out of shape.

Im refusing myself to go into curb skate only, like a lot of old pros. High or mid ollies are good for legs health, its similar to doing leg days on workout.

Agreed. Stopped jumping down shit in my twenties but that just meant more going over shit, trashcans out of banks have become my favorite. I’ll dork around on a curb or small ledge at the end of a session, or if I don’t really feel it certain days, but I can’t become that guy.

the biggest pro of curbs is that the sound/feeling of grinding on it is just so satisfying.  if there was a low ledge with a parking block/curb welded on top of it that'd be ideal

Agreed, but I still like and use it for bigspins in.

It does make me question other things though - would you call a 360 flip fs lipslide on a rail a 270flip fs lipslide?
Or Koston's 360 flip fs noseblunt a 270 flip fs noseblunt?
I think most of us accept it as a 360 flip noseblunt.
Trick naming conventions are always kind of open to discussion / interpretation.

Saying 360 flip into whatever makes more sense than saying big spin though. We as a group only say big spin because it sounds cooler.
