100 percent agree, this is a pretty popular opinion at this point. Tyshawn already got did dirty. And this ass filming style was copied by so many unoriginal filmers that we will look back on a few years of skateboarding wondering why all the camera's all had broken zooms.

The guy who defiled Rowan Davis' skating in Splinter should also be tried as a war criminal.

You actually start at least the year before to stacking footy and having one of your managers discuss marketing strategy with Thrasher so that you have a cover/interview/ and video part release lined up. Releasing a shoe, or a high-profile sponsor change also helps

Not to mention, most, if not all of their decks are still silk screened, and the shapes are really good.

My unpopular opinion: I like Tony Hawk and don't mind all the tasteless product endorsements (aside from liquid death, hate that brand, and maybe some others). He comes across as genuine and self aware. He's been the same dude for decades.

I wish he never had any involvement with that moron Jason. That was the worst endorsement of his career.

Well damn, and here I was thinking my opinion was an unpopular one just due to how much praise I hear about shelltoes in some circles.
Drake Jones, Chico, and Kalis made them look decent, but no one else really comes to mind. Kader looked better in Vans. (Sorry Gabbers, love ya and still love your skating, but the shelltoes are gonna be a no from me dawg  )
