I see someone wearing a helmet, my first thought is, "That dude's real, because he doesn't give a fuck about the cool-kids."
I see posts / sentiments like Nyjah's and my first thought, "Dude's ego and sense of masculinity is more fragile than Trump's. Fuck these jocks--same dudes who used to yell "SKATE F*GS!!" from cars."
Irony runs strong with skaters. Collectively, we aren't scared of 20-stair rails. Yet we are terrified of being seen as "uncool" by our peers.
Haha, right on! I think the same thing when I pass by fellow helmet wearers. I typically stick up devil horns and say "rock on, fellow helmet brother! Totally rad of you to protect your noodle!"
My helmet looks pretty spiffy, I must say. I painted it to look like a mean looking shark.
It makes me wonder when Nyjah will finally decide to be a wholesome chungus like Andy Anderson and protect his heckin dome.
Whenever I watch footy of Spanky or Bryan Herman, I think "GAAHHHH! WHY DON'T THESE SUCKERS WEAR HECKIN HELMETS?!!" Any dweeb who doesn't wear a helmet is a dishonorable sussy baka, the opposite of a wholesome chungus.
