Library Games
« on: April 21, 2026, 06:43:14 PM »
I went to the library earlier this week to print some shit out.

They allow people to borrow PS4 games. I didn't look too closely but kind of looking forward to going through their library of games.

Does anyone else have a library that does this?

I used to rent PC games from the library as a kid. They were family friendly/educational, no Half Life unfortunately.

I live in Koblenz, Germany. The library has some of Switch games (for example, Animal Crossing and Octopath Traveler 2), and I think it also has PlayStation games.

On Tuesdays after school, kids can play PlayStation and Switch together for about one or two hours  8)

Pretty neat  :)

My local library has a pretty decent collection of PS5/PS4, Xbox, and Switch games. My PS5 is digital only so no luck there but I've grabbed a ton of switch games to play.

Libraries are awesome and I'll always promote them. You can get access to tons of eBooks & audiobooks through the Libby app with your library card usually and there's even a streaming service called KANOPY you can access with a lot of library cards.

Some newspapers will allow access with a library card as well.
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

yep I've become tight with the buyer at my local library.
I'll email him about upcoming games and if he can get it, he'll put me as the first hold.
