still no answer why skate shops are glorified Nike stores lining the pockets of major republician donors but it’s cool because he’s not stupid enough to be loud and proud?

Why YOU still wear/support NB. Or I guess they learned there lesson?

Even es I skate them pretty sure don brown is racist or something. Are we canceling TJ Rodgers’s???

Dydrek and SlS is questionable and that premires on rumble. We cancelling everybody who skates for them??? They been adding some hot names lately. We shaming Durao or Aimu everytime there name is brought up now?

Idk if is racist, but didn’t Indy just bring the cross back? Yall cancellijg everybody who skates for them ?????

A lot of this shit is way bigger and has way more money flowing through that that weak as event, atleast on the skate side of it.

Slap be the main ones like oh “get that bag playa” or tryna get it core is immature, people got families to feed.

I’m not defending his decision to skate that event. I was geniunely sad when I seen that and im defenitily not defending Tim pool it’s just yall selective outrage is so fucking annoying. Keep the kooks coming. I know it’s way easier than looking in the mirror.

Fuck sake. I really don't have the time and energy to get into a discussion about what individual responsibility should look like in a neoliberal hellhole of a world that has taken complete ownership of that term and reshaped it into a bad faith excuse to tell us to fuck off whenever we show a communal interest in maintaining some form of economy and society that's fit for the humans that comprise it.

But since you're so passionate about it, I've reviewed my initial sentence; Jeff is allowed to prove that he's bettered himself after four and a half years into his five year sentence. He still took the conscious decision to go to Tim Pool's shit and let himself be filmed and featured on Tim Pool's shit. Tim fucking Pool. That's not the same as going full Richie Jackson (who should serve a life sentence of complete anonymity and obscurity), sure. But it's also not the same as buying a pair of Nike shoes (and I think that that sort of individualized, consumer activism, as the only real option for social change, is a deeply flawed, ideologically compromised take nine times out of ten anyways).

Also, I don't want to fully shit on Jeff's dreams and tell him to just 'get a real job', but why do you think Jeff has some sort of divine right to make a living as a skateboarder by ány means necessairy? Shit's weird.

He should start his own podcast and call it Pine Club. They could talk about skating and trees.

How many of you even know the person that pays your salary and receives the profit generated by your labour in return, let alone know their politics? Pine has been forever trying hard to make skateboarding a career. He fucked up but please let's be real about how many of y'all's careers are lining the pockets and fueling the social sabotage of people who are every bit as bad as Tim Pool. If anything I very much doubt Pool got his money's worth from that event and Pine somehow made a better deal than most of you armchair moralists working for neoliberal monsters. How exactly is his quest to somehow scrape a meagre living from skating less exonerable than your quest to pay off a mortgage and a nice car at a multinational deathcorp? There are those among you who may have upheld their values, forsaken comfortable income for core ethics and are thus qualified to pass judgement, but why am I willing to bet that those aren't the loudmouths in here trying to crucify a dude who gets jokingly put on the spectrum all the time for making one really stupid sociopolitical decision. Foaming at the mouth type shit foreal. And all you bitches wearing Trump-donating NBs,yet you're the ones screaming the loudest at the personification of easy target. This is just weak cowardly performative outrage. If you're serious about the societal impact and political implications of people in skateboarding, ostracize rothdigga right now. He works for and thus enriches a man who financed Trump's rise to power. But that's not gonna happen is it?

Im sorry but this has got to be the ugliest shoe I've seen in a long time. What is this anthroposophic childcare ass colour combo?!??!! I know we love NB and rothdigga here and I skate 440s myself but holy fucking shit who signed off on the tan toecap?!

It's funny you guys were saying his career was over after tim pool but he just ends up on the nine club after lol

Nine club is desperate for new guests and are currently scraping the bottom of the barrel. A year ago they would not even have entertained the idea of Jeffwonnazi being on the show.

He hit his peak with the Element flat bar in the driveway.
All downhill from there.

I don’t think he would’ve gotten the recognition he has today if he used the Zero flat bar.

I continually admire your taste!

Next time Pine shows up to the b00nies, he'll be blasting Mos Def's "Rock'N'Roll", popping HUGE double inward heelflips and mean mugging everyone while wearing his fresh Slap Pals T with the sleeves cut off. He'll scream "Elvis Presley ain't got no soul" at Jason Ellis before snatching his cowboy hat off his head and focusing it. We would all be forced to praise him for being such a g, such a badass that he's named (style)King of Slap. Fred Gall is never mentioned on here again.

Or maybe it'd just be a group sing along to that right wing Canadian rapper I had to google: Tom MacDonald. I dunno?

I mean, having guests on that would've been considered most relevant and A-list status 15-35 years ago would be a bit better than having guests on that would've been considered most relevant and A-list status 45 years ago (Rocco and Vallely), so you do somewhat got a point.

I think it also depends if Koston or Gonz even want to be on. Koston's brand is a little tarnished after numbers crumbled. Gonz's wife runs his meetings and general business deals.

Before this thread I had only heard his name on podcasts where he was reviled for trick selection. I never sought out his footage based on that. Then I see the controversy in this thread and wanted to lightweight fact check and now I've seen way more of him than I have ever wanted and did exactly what he and his supporters want: give him clicks. He wins from the bad publicity.

How do people not understand that there’s a distinction between actively being down with a Russian spy that’s actively spreading hate speech versus wearing some MIC shoes where most of the upper management suits happen to be Trump backers

I will give Pine credit that he was dickless enough to ignore the Cobra Cole situation unlike half of the shills out there blaming cAncEl cUlTurE

You should probably check your blood pressure before you stroke out over Mike V, dude. My point was, nobody under 30 gives a shit about either of them (if they’ve even heard of them at all) your version of skateboarding has long been dead if you consider either of those guys relevant.

Mostly agree, but also with Nike it gets more complicated as they recently sent out a survey asking their customers if they would be OK with Nike giving money to trump's projects like the ballroom project.

So by buying Nike you're kinda also supporting trump, which made me stop buying Nike, and it was my go to brand for running shoes and stuff.

I think it’s more like having an opinion than bullying. Just because you don’t like the opinion based on facts doesn’t mean it’s bullying.
This is the problem with a lot of softcocks in society these days, no accountability and can’t handle the truth
