I was really looking forward to this video and I actually am typically a fan of strobecks work. This video actually felt like it was lacking his general energy like it was missing that kind of for lack of a better term SWAG that you come to expect with his videos and the music was lackluster compared to the supreme videos. Patrick and Kris had the best songs, completely agree about using Nirvana's most low hanging fruit songs (also big nirvana fan). For how transgressive bill tries to be, it's crazy he chose those two, especially something in the way. Also agree that the edit made me feel weird, its almost soulless and creepy and not at all in a cool way.

I appreciate the full parts, and the name titles, but even the title design felt flat and boring, and derivative of hockey style shit.

Troy is probably my favorite skater atm, that fakie ghetto bird was trick of the year! So much finesse and style.
Patrick is up there that was a great part.

It almost felt like it was bill trying to be benny but lacked the commitment or some shit idk it just didn't feel like a strobeck vid. Maybe he needs supervision and when left to his own devices can't follow through?

It was a cool watch though, a lot of the skating got me hyped, got to watch it my girlfriend and explain a bunch of shit and she was interested and thought it was cool and she got to see one patrick wear the only supreme piece she has and she got stoked which was awesome. I just feel like the Supreme vids are better and give me what I'm looking for and this vid missed a lot of that.

Crazy how nobody noticed Seven tricks, dude on this video came like a joe in a bro crew video. Frontside noseslide shove it as a single trick was like Bill trying to mocking us.

If you pay atention in joe Campos tricks and spots its was a real down grade part, should stay on Hockey.

Philly guys had the best part, switch bs nosegrind By Marcus Mcbride clone was really nice.

I’m still kind of confused on Seven. Besides having a cool name, there’s nothing really remarkable about him imo. His tricks just kinda blend together and they just feel like they’re there, it’s hard to explain but I get no excitement nor does he look like he’s excited about skating either.

More filler than I was even expecting.

Some good skateboard riding here and there

Boomer soundtracks making skate videos cooler in the 2020s is somethin' else

Video was maybe trying to present a little 56K at times but could never get there

I feel like he showed a lot of promise with past supreme vids and was progressing in a great way but ultimately this part felt really flat besides a few tricks

I love it when Bill turns the camera around just to make sure you know which clips he was filming...brother, we know.

I got pretty bored about halfway through. Just so much footage that didn’t need to be in there. I understand when you watch a Strobeck video you’re signing up for a lot of B roll and lifestyle footage, and I love a nice full-length skate video, but it was kind of a chore getting through this one.

I don’t know if I fully understand the appeal of Efron. I do get there’s something charismatic about the footage, but I don’t really enjoy a flatground line down Hollywood Blvd unless I’m watching Paulo Diaz or something. Everyone’s part could have had a bit of fat cut out.

Obviously Kader is special. No fat in that part. Not much meat either, someone said 11 clips? The nollie heel front board was incredible.

it’s so fucked that bill continues to let his overinflated ego shine over the real stars of the video, the skaters.

hes a fucking menace and should not be allowed to handle footy. let him film to his hearts content, but fuck man, i can taste is disgusting ego oozing through the screen.

Pros:
Mike Ward's grinds
Patrick's footage
Soundtrack
Efron's Bandana/cheekbones combo
Colour grading or whatever you nerds call it
slo mo kfbt on barrier
50 mins going by fast (I know i'm in the minority here)
Did Kader really only have like 12 clips, cos it felt like a proper part to me. KF to bs 360 flip was sick, as was the spin to wall push line
Watching pedestrians

Cons:
Weed
varial flips

Pro and con:
feeling old but still relating

(edit for accidental grocer's apostrophe)

Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

I was very stoked for the first couple parts at how un-modern strobecky the filming and editing was feeling. It had his knack for good color grading without butchering the clips with the angles too much, and the tedious intermissions between clips were not only very toned down, but I also found some of them to be quite enjoyable.

My god did that fall apart quickly though! Around the 10 minute mark it became half very entertaining skating and half a boring chore to sit through.

As far as the skating:

-Joe Campos: Definitely not his best part, but still a Joe Campos part. Very good but wouldn't have given him first part.
-Mike Ward: Very nice
-Seven: Good enough
-Kyle Teh: They really need to decide wether this dude's a proper team rider or not. Either give his skating the treatment you give for the other team riders, or just make him the homie who has guests clips in the videos. This sort of in-between things sucks. I like dude's style and would happily sit through a full video part rather than feel like he's getting patronized every video for no reason
-Auguste: First time I've kinda enjoyed this dude's footage. Just when thinking about how he's kinda sick when he tones down the fake steez he hit us with this though

-Efron and Kris MVP's. Give Efron a pro board!
-Patrick: Some good stuff in there, but the editing really made this one hard for me
-Troy Gipson: Not as good as I would've hoped, but still great
-Kader: This whole time my man was only sitting on 10 clips...

Imagine sawing through a bunch of shit to do this:

I also want to point out that besides Efron's sick flatground line, there was no other fisheye line in the entire video?

Everything was a single trick. I hate Strobecks filming but damn he hates filming actual lines for his videos. Makes me hate him more.

I dont want to watch it again so if I'm wrong someone correct me.

Bro off the top of my head Mike, Kris and Joe had lines. Sounds like you just hate Strobeck which is fine but there were a few fisheye lines throughout the video and Bill isn’t the only filmer.

I stand corrected. You're right, Mike with the Muni lines. And yeah, Strobeck didnt film any of that.

I am hating on Bill
