One of, if not THE King of the Crail era...a time in skateboarding looked back on with a lot of fondness, especially here.
This one is heavy.

Damn, Marc was a handful of years older than me but was a fan since the Maple days. Gonna sit down tonight and watch many parts to reminisce. One of the best to do it, no doubt.

This sucks. Really really sad to hear this.

All of his parts are legendary but these two immediately come to mind as favourites

absolutely gut-wrenching shit. during mental health awareness month as well. check up on your loved ones.

Edit: Did/do not mean to insinuate suicide, sounds like that isn’t the case.

Give the people you care about a hug and tell them you love them. Heartbreaking how people can be taken from us too soon

RIP Marc

On Dylan’s birthday, of all days. Rest in peace, Marc. Your skating meant a lot to a lot of people.
Was just telling my friend about this. Devastating day.

Can both of you really, really take this bullshit somewhere else guys. Read the room.

Edit: go to the GH thread, and I'll tell you there tomorrow who you rightfully think you are better then, but who you also kind of show similarities to, at this moment.

Fucking awful. Like others I was holding out hope for a comeback with some curb clips. Just days after Adidas posted a video of Mike fucking Carroll of all people.

One of the best to ever step foot on a board. I'm so sorry for his family and friends. Can't imagine what they are gong through right now. Sending big hugs to his kids.

I worried about this for him because I went through it with someone in my life. You fear for the worst, then that day comes. Devastating for his people. Rest In Peace.

I just can’t believe it. To be weird, creative and an individual and also be one of the most technically gifted skaters. He was truly one of a kind and he really helped a young me realize you don’t have to change who you are to fit in. I’m really grateful for mj’s contributions to the culture. He deserved all his flowers.

In it right now with my bro. He'll have huge mood swings and anger issues, but trying. He still goes dark every now and then, had to phone a friend halfway across the country to check on him on time. The emotional demands of that relationship are complex and not fun.

Rewatching On Video’s why style matters now. I got to spend a few cool evenings with Marc when I was 19/20 working at a skate shop. He was always super cool and took time to check in on me. It always stuck with me. Still will.

I wore out my Yeah Right tape on his part.

GOAT.
You’ll be missed Marc.

The way Louie wrote that, makes it sound like suicide. With Marc disappearing for long periods of time, and everything else, who knows. Bad day for skateboarding. RIP.

This. Insane timing. Rewatching his nine club interview right now…its pretty clear they did him dirty. Esp after everything he did for Crail.

Just watching the shockwaves of this throughout the entire world of skating I can’t help but think…I hope Jerry is doing okay. I can’t imagine how hard this must be for him, they really seemed to have a special bond.

Marc wore white shirt and brown pants, so I wore white shirt and brown pants.
i tried to copy the button up era from yeah right a ton. also remember going to a tradeshow in vancouver where jim t was just watch pretty sweet, we were both fanning out over the part, especially the back to back nollie bs flip and switch fs flip.
im 39 so 49 feels way too young, especially having lost my dad last year. cant imagine how his son is doing.
