I have a feeling he's making the full jump to Heroin. He rides for Snot, skates eggs, works with Fos enough times for his board graphics, and skates with their crew a lot.

I figure he realizes he makes enough of a paycheck and goes on enough trips through Dickies and NB that he can skate for a smaller team than Primitive.

Good for him, he was always way too cool and unique for Primitive.

Would be awesome to see him get on Heroin.

It was nice that primitive gave him a lot of freedom in terms of graphics and art design but it still felt like a weird fit to me. Heroin would be a good fit for sure

Franky is a top pro though.  Sci Fi and Swim are (as the riders say) meant for people that don’t really fit anywhere else

I think this is a good idea.  He could be shoehorned in to other companies but Franky is sick enough to grow his own tomato.

copy that--then again, did he really "fit" on Primitive? maybe. not fitting anywhere else is also a way of saying people are doing their own thing, as it were, which is definitely him.

to Marty, i don't know if he skates with anybody from Sci-Fi, just like i did not know/think Dylan Jaeb skated with anyone on Quasi. like i said, i don't usually get involved in these conversations...

Pretty sure I saw in one of those top 5 interviews in Thrasher with him that he said he doesn't like GH. I don't think I can find it but he doesn't seem like he has the sense of humor that gels with that team.

That makes me like Franky Villani even more. GH has his moments, but I'm not a fan of when people who are always wearing a layer of snarkiness and sneering as protection.
