The "how long have you been skating?" thread in toy banter got me thinking about videos from when I started skating. This video came out the year I got into riding the ol stunt wood, and should no doubt be labeled a classic. Just look at the line up. Tricks are creative, the spots are dope, the soundtrack is good. Just an overall stylish feelgood video. Some highlights are listed.
Frank Hirata - f/s 180 to fakie smith in a line. Before people hated him or something. Do people hate him? I thought they did for a while maybe.
Rick McCrank - this was 4 years before "The End" came out. Ripped back then, still does.
Matt Field - Back in his hippie days. Line through the woods. Power nollies
Charlie Wilkins - Can't tell if that last rail is square or round. Either way, that's a pretty long 5050 for back then.
Brian Anderson - 5 years before he won SOTY. Slappys in lines, and lines at hubba.
Mike Manzoori - Before he was "that filmer guy". The indy at 14:26 is just so fucking sick.
Sergei Trudnowski - Hill bombs a set of stairs. Classic SF action.
Ed Tempelton - It's Ed Tempelton.
