i was disappointed with how short some of the parts were. for a video 4 years in the making, berra and deer dick have no excuses for such short parts. that was fucking gay. was heath's ender that yeah right gap ? looked nice. I need to go back and rewatch it. kalis was dope. dills song was expected and ridiculous, I guess like the way he dresses. the ender looked interesting, one upped daewon tech wise. tyler's carlsbad ender was nice. that acid trip of a litebrite intermission was interesting. and the scooter bullshit was kinda dumb. omar's part was amazing rewatched that a few times and yeah, definitly a good vid. It's definitly a post fully flared video with it's trick selection but has it's own pizzaz. Good to see the Workshop is still in business. was that shit in 60 fps ? it looked amazing. I was a little weirded out by some of it but I guess that's what alien was going for anyways.
I think the shortness of the vid was well done, no emo mariano part, no longass marc johnson part (i think i've watched that part only once from start to finish), no overdoing the gayass ledge dance combos. I'm sure the extra footage will attest to the fact that only the cream of the crop from each guys skating was put in their videopart. The only I woulda liked to seen more lines from most of the guys, it seemed like every line they did put in was pretty bangin'. I also wished there was less of such a serious tone to the vid, like inhabitants seemed to be a little more relaxed and fun skating.
Some of you slap guys have such a sense of entitlement, just because you post alot and have made it up through the ranks means nothing. I've lurked the board a long time and most often choose not to post because i usually agree with the popular sentiment on most issues, why bother reiterating whats already been said? Calling everyone with one post a clown and fags is regular, it just means they don't care to post on this board for any number of reasons.
And, the 200 meg link being sent around is not the best, if you look hard and be resourceful you might be able to find the better quality 500 meg version.
I know everyone says this but, I will definately be buying the Alien vid and find it impressive that they have been able to distribute the vid in some nice packaging with extras so soon after the release date, I was very glad i didnt rush to buy Fully Flared because I knew they would double dip in a few months with the Final Flare which I am a proud owner of.
