i had a deck that was skated to naked wood, then i drew all over it with permanent markers for some girl

i used red nail polish to make a heart inside one of the 4 truck hole blocks on the grip side of the deck

pretty corny, but the bottom of the deck looked cool

I get a lot of compliments on my grip tape all the time, I just can't skate regular grip tape..I have the grip tape for one day, and I go crazy. here is one of my most recent stencils.

So when you stencil this do you try to use as least paint as possible? I'd figure too much would make the grip all slippery.

i always like to make an elaborate stencil on my griptape but it just weirds me out when i look at it while skating so i just use plain black and give the stenciled ones to my friends

yeah, grip art can be distracting to me depending on what it is. i usually leave it blank.

Don't do pictures or even quotes anymore, I've just been running plain black for years, but this one from like 3 years back was pretty funny.

Funniest thing about it is that my board shot out at the park and some stupid kid in a tall tee stopped it with his foot, looked at the grip, then looked up at me, and I just kind of lifted my hands up and told him "Yeah, well......"

I personally don't draw or write anything on it, but my friend writes "DONT WRITE ON THE GRIP" on his decks. The amount of people that ask him what it means is pretty funny

I'm all about the line, I draw a crazy little line towards the bottom of the grip, cut it before gripping, and put the bottom on slightly aschew. It makes a cool little wave or lightning bolt that I like
