you guys (the majority of this messageboard) just needs to realize that skateboarding isn't the exclusive club anymore; it has brought in a variety of different people with all sorts of personalities. its not just for the weird, cool, different or reserved dudes anymore. COTG is clearly one of the people who got into skating and probably skates with a different mindset than you or a lot of skateboarders.

I guess what i'm trying to say, skateboarding is gonna take on a more jockish edge to it during the next several years (and maybe for a longer period than that.) people like COTG are already more common, I'm not trying to say its a good or bad thing, just that its time to get real and face what we have now and whats coming.

this confuses me... if lizard has all of those tricks popped and consistent on flat, why do we only see him do the same two or three tricks down stuff? i know it's different--obviously, but the way he was doing them it looked like he had the authority to bring them down a gap

heath was so interesting (no homo)... his tricks were low, quick, awkward... and i loved it. BUT i could see how someone would criticize it--some of his tricks in this game are easy targets for cotg. lizard's tricks were more "proper," but obviously has a smaller bag

Exactly, that was heinous but the backside 360 was fucking worse.
Oh and also I was totally shocked in the pre game interview when the words "passion" and "classy" came out of Lizard's mouth, wasn't expecting that at all.

okay you're right about the back 360 but that was defensive and he only did it like that to make the trick (which could also be the reason heath did most of his tricks his so quick and low--to make the trick, not to make it look good). the bigspins were about that same. and if you want to get into tricks that shouldn't have counted, what about heath's frontside shove. it's all up to the judge though.

i'm not trashing heath though, like i said i thoroughly enjoyed his tricks, it's just lizards were higher, slower, and more better so from a traditional standpoint, his were more proper (aside from the back 3)
