had my first Black Tuesday the other night (brought it with me here to Hawaii). lived up to the hype.

the only barrel-aged beer I would say is better than Bourbon County Stout.  it's like BCS on crack

I loved the Heal the Bay IPA from Golden Road and then was disappointed with their wolf among weeds one. I just picked up a few of these and they are definitely in my top 3 favorite beers I've had. It's only 3 bucks for a pint and it's 9.4%. If you like IPA's, I'd definitely recommend this.

It's true. Can you help me pick out some good seasonal beers?

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

i couldn't be bothered tracking any down this year. it always turns up on draft every now and then around here. i'm tempted to trade for the coconut one, though.

I managed to snag the barley wine along with the stout myself, pretty tasty, but at 12.5 and 14.5% respectively they'll last me some time haha. Also drank my bottle of Sucaba last night, decent, but I couldn't get into it at all.

scored some of the Bourbon County Barleywine (Backyard Rye).  look forward to trying

want to try and get all the other variants of Bourbon County Stout if possible.  pretty sure i'll be able to get the coffee.  cherry and coconut will be harder

cherry rye was so great, definitely seek that one out. had a couple of bramble rye a while ago, too. cherry was better. the only variations i haven't had are vanilla and proprietors reserve (coconut). it's excellent (if a little overhyped) beer, but once every season is enough for me.

Honestly, they are flipping the lager game on its head right now. They recently released a 14% lager aptly called Baby Maker

Hell yeah. It's the ultimate session beer now with summer coming on. If you haven't tried the new Mountain Goat summer ale you should, it's almost on the same level as the Pacific.
