Also I had the Old Rasputin XV. It was pretty darn good but I got ripped off. They charged me $20 for an 8 oz. glass. Maines lunch was kicked before I could get there.

that's bullshit.   bottles were 22 (or so)

did they not post the price?

i hate when places try to do that

Yeah they did not post the price. Also the bartender I had was a dick/snob. I complained because I saw people getting normal sized snifters of it. I left him not a single dollar as a tip and I go to this place very frequently.

Pretty bummed that in order to get one of the Stone limited collabos where the sales go to the new east coast and Berlin  breweries has to be picked up at a Stone location. I don't live near a Stone location or plan on going to Berlin anytime soon. Would love to donate but I don't want a lousy t-shirt.

Greg made a decent apology about it, but I agree.

Speaking of, we got more Stone packs a few weeks ago, so they have been most of my daily beers.

Family brought me back a case of this stuff recently too; hands down my favorite sessionable pale ale

These two finally showed up last week; imperial red might be my favorite Lagunitas

Cheers!

his apology seemed kind of insincere to me.  it kind of came across as condescending, like he was insulted people didn't get what they were going for

Was up early today and decided to run some errands. There's a Wine Academy a few towns over that I don't really frequent. Boy am I glad I went in today. The treasures I found. I bought a bottle of Agave Maria(finally) two bottles of Dogfish Head 120 minute, a six pack of Dogfish Head World Wide Stout, and some Duclaw Serum XXIPA aged in bourbon barrels.im currently drinking the Duclaw and holy crap is it delicious. Nice okay smell to it and the taste is just a rich bourbon, oak, vanilla, hops fusion. Will be picking up more tomorrow. Also last night I had some Aecht Schlenkerla Oak Smoke, and it seriously smells like you are at a fire pit  on a fall night, and tastes like charred embers, bacon, and pper. So good.

Yeah I honestly hate it in a way. Everyone sitting around updating and tagging photos in the middle of a bottle share or at a bar, kinda killing the social vibe, but like anything else it's how you use it.
I have one for work, The Albany Taproom. I'm in the process of going through and taking flicks of everything we have on tap.

Here's what the summer haul has brought to our house.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I've only heard bad things about it. My guess is they are trying to gain notoriety by all the people involved who can just instagram to their million followers to try it and people will buy it, rather than gaining recognition by actually having good beer.

Their beer isn't bad. Their Head brewer Kim Lutz came from J Lohr Winery and was Lead Brewer at Maui Brew Co and Yiga Miyashiro, Director of Brew Operations came from Port Brewing and is a pretty decorated home brewer.
Nothing spectacular but definitely not relying on PRod to sell their beer.
