this is all too weird... a lot of the most historic spots have been changed very recently in one way or another. the el toro rail got taken out... there are talks of wallenberg being taken down soon. and now carlsbad? it's not like these places could erect something else that would "better" the scenery of where these spots are. i guess they just don't want skateboarding where they are.

Schools build "better" and more up-to-date facilities all the time. Maybe they're building newer/better classrooms or some shit.
I doubt the school board would allocate hundreds of thousands of dollars for a huge construction project just to "fuck with skaters."

and carlsbad being gone is fine. That spot got destroyed by skaters and it felt used and abused and had to go. so now we'll have new historic gaps popping up. In the entire world, there are plenty more gaps with grass and cement. THERE MUST BE.

For some reason I actually care. That spot has some serious history, I always hate seeing shit like that get torn down. Seems like more and more all the best spots are getting destroyed.

i don't know... i've been to the gap. the area just ends at a concrete wall. and over the wall is a busy street so they can't be adding anything that far out. all i can think of they would be doing is maybe taking it out for a picnic area or something stupid. to add more classrooms they would have to add to the building which would be super expensive.
