this is so dumb.. the ad was a fucking a joke just like all the other baker ads. reynolds put the ad out... he owns baker and he lays out every ad they put out so im sure terry didnt really have much to do with it. Im sure terry doesnt think he is the best black skater.

That's what I was thinking.  He doesn't directly say "I'm the best black skater".  He says "best black skater, yeah nigga prove that" as if to say there needs to be some real proof that he's the best black skater.  I read it as a response to this ad:



He might be adressing Reynolds in this rap, like 'you labeled me the best black skater, so prove it to me'.  Just by his expression, I can tell he's not serious.  TK is neither dumb nor particularly competitive:  He knows that you can't definitively prove who the best in skateboarding; he probably knows that Antuwan is better than him, he's just putting up a front for the sake of a rap song.


That's how I saw it at least.  Most people interpreted it as a absolute claim, and thus this thread turned into listing all the black skaters better than Terry Kennedy.  Since the vast majority of black pro skaters are better than TK, a simpler task would be to list those that are worst.
