Saw a video of a snowboarder doing this, wonder if it's been done on a skateboard. Frontside invert backside out to forward. Like a front invert to fakie but spun an extra 180. The maybe an abd by Winkowski, or some random guy in the 80s.

Could you post the snowboard vid? This is hard to imagine. Do you mean a fs invert brought back to fakie or a fs invert with an extra 180 to land fakie? Both have been done, the second one is called a Miller Flip. fs invert/540 (or a miller flip with an extra 180 on top of that) has also been done, that's called a Unit. They're both old 80s tricks.

i think it's more of a frontside invert to fakie revert (i know this wouldn't really make sense as a trick name but i hope you will know what i meant). like a regular fs invert to fakie but when coming back into the transition you do an extra backside 180 to land back in your regular stance. not a miller flip because the extra 180 is not in the same direction as a regular fs invert

I flipped into a barley a couple times, looked and felt like shit though. If someone with a good fs flip could do it, and as you said, go back to forward with a good pop out it would look pretty cool I'd imagine!

That's right, yeah. From what I understand - approaching a ledge frontside, you do a f/s 270, then land in a f/s blunt position. You could call it a switch b/s noseblunt as well; I'm assuming the position of your shoulders and torso when you rotate into a 270 position would make it feel more like a switch b/s noseblunt.

Seems like it would be really hard to slide that. Difficult, not impossible. Wonder how it would feel.

I can’t for the life of me remember who it is but I’m almost positive it’s in a 411 chaos or maybe another video’s montage of sorts. Maybe real early 2000s.
The one I’m picturing kinda locks in and bounces out really quickly and in a super snappy sort of way. I know that’s not a lot to go on but I’ve def seen the bs flip in done.

I can’t for the life of me remember who it is but I’m almost positive it’s in a 411 chaos or maybe another video’s montage of sorts. Maybe real early 2000s.

I sort of remember someone (maybe ty) talking about pappalardo doing those with a flip in back in the day, but could be wrong and don't know if there's any footage. Also Kelvin Hoeffler did one on accident down a rail in an x games run @50:01



Don't remember ever seeing a nollie half cab to ss fs 50-50? Like approaching the rail backside. Feel like it could look amazing with a flip in down a decent sized rail
